Recently i busted a player in 2 hands,now i dont mind some being upset when they lose.
But this bloke said i should die my wife should die and my kids should die.and it would happen this week
Ther should be some way to contac some one while this is happening and action taken straight away,such as tossing them out for a period of time till they learn manners
some days are diamonds some days are stone

Yes i agree but they haven't got anything to stop it as yet so the only way is to do what i advised in my last post and that should get them banned and stop them doing it again. Maybe one day there will be some other way of doing it but for now that's all we've got.

I have to say as a victim and perpetrator of abuse i tend to see it as part of the game, except in My888 tournaments where it is clear that abuse of any sort is not accepted. I would say though some of the abuse in cam tournaments has been ridiculous. Most recently playing a guy who said i had a big nose was therefore jewish, didnt bother me in anyway as i coudnt care less. And i figure if i take offence i am just as bad as him. BUT after the next continous five-ten minutes of this Dutch player announcing how he wants to kill jews and how he'd enjoy it killing jewish children. Cam tournaments have to be monitored you cannot copy and paste these rants and the language used was way beyond legal in any european state. In the light of the jailing recently of somebody repulsive for the twitter tweets, the language went far beyond this and so I am going to name and shame the player as four or five days on i am still extremely offendded Sorry but you are not allowed to name the player but you can send all your complaints to support@888poker.com and they will deal with it.

Anybody making those sort of disgusting Rascist Insults in a public place, ie. a table on a poker site, deserves to be named and shamed, and banned and if possible prosecuted, by not allowing their name to be posted we are merely protecting them, and I don't understand why anybody would want to do that. If they are going to type that stuff they should be prepared to face the consequences..

Hi Jeanie,
I hope you are well.
If 100% of the players that were "named and shamed" were guilty or at fault 100% of the time, then there would not be an issue in doing it, but this is not the case. Therefore, we don't want any "innocent" person to suffer the indignation of being "named and shamed". Also, there are sometimes deeper issues than we think and we have to be sensitive in this area as well.
I put innocent in quotes as sometimes, while they are guilty of what was said, it was due to provocation.
In all other cases, members are warned or accounts are usually closed from our end and an e-mail sent stating this and why.
