Run bad. Continue , how long can this last. ? I have no doubt I will end it with a good cash but how long can bad runs last before I end up in a mental home

My last run bad was March Donnie and it lasted arround 6-7 weeks, I was ready to give in as it had become a self perpetuating problem I was playing bad because I was running bad and therefore running bad because I had started to play bad. So I switched sites for a week and I also switched to cash games from my usual SNG play, came back here after a week and hit the MTT's and it eventually paid off.
Its hard when that swing hits, look at some of my posts from March/April I took it really bad. It is important to remember if you are not happy you will probably not be playing your best poker, take a short break, switch sites for a short while, or change your game as in try omaha, or cash, or SnG just something different. Playing forum only games is a good way to get your game back on track as you get less stooopid players so are less likely to suffer those horrible beats

Cheers awf , I've tryed the other sites and had a few days off but it continues. Think I've cashed in about 3 tourneys in the last 6 weeks. I did win a dollar cam tourney but was for little money:( . I will play tonight and if it goes all wrong I'll take a few days off again. Won't be in the forum game tonight , it's a bit pricey just now , I do fancy playing a bit of Omaha h/l , used to play that ages ago and liked it . Gl me :)

Tonight's all ins aav qq he hits Spade flush on river , kk v 88 , 8 hits , ak S v ak , hits flush , qqv j10 hits straIght, oh and don't forget qq v 10-3 off he hits a 3 and aa v a5 and flop is 955 all this in 1 night after 5, 6 weeks of this . On 2 sites aswel . I'm wounded . Onto the next 1 :)
