With excited anticipation it gives me great pleasure to announce our Final Blog Competition of 2015.
I introduce to you this months title…
My.888poker Holiday Special ‘Open Blog’ Competition.
Oooooooh! Why is it special, Wkd?! (yes, I read minds too) All ('ish) is revealed below...
There are several reasons. The first being, there is no subject definition. And it doesn’t have to be poker related. Yep, the content is entirely up to you. Much like an ‘Open Mike’ night, where anyone can get up on stage to entertain the audience, in what ever manner they choose, it is your chance to shine in the blogging arena.
We want you to unleash your inner author and write a blog with a topic of your choice, whether it be about you, your journey through life and experiences along the way, or something completely different and off the wall. Get creative and have fun!
Remember though, the audience wants to be entertained, so consider your subject carefully, keep it respectful and in the good spirit the title suggests. It will be the season of good will very shortly. Let’s make this month’s competition the first one free of controversy and accusations.
There is a slight sting though, due to you having a little longer than normal to enter your blog, and it being the final competition of this year.…the minimum word count for the My.888poker Holiday Special ‘Open Blog’ Competition is 500 words!
Now, for the really special bit. The prizes……….will be announced shortly.
I can tell you, we intend to see the end of this first year of the My.888poker Blog Competition out in style.
All blogs deemed genuine entrants and confirmed as eligible to take part in the last 2015 blog competition will be invited to a Holiday Special Freeroll, to be played on Sunday the 27th of December. I shall be joining you, with a juicy little bounty on my head. Further details to follow.
The top three prizes will also reflect the ‘special-ness’ of this particular competition.
And last but not least…This WkdWitch loves to give presents and Christmas is the perfect excuse to get carried away, so I will be awarding surprise prizes for any manner of reasons.
My generosity could also extend to any blog comments that may catch my eye. Who knows?! I get to be creative too.

Minimum 500 Words.
3. Content-
Anything you would enjoy writing.
4. Pictures-
Are welcome. Any copyrighted material will be politely requested to be removed.
5. Closing Date -
Midnight (GMT) Friday 18th December.
6. Thread Announcement
Post your 888 username in this thread to alert me you wish your blog to be considered for entry.
7. Have Fun
Choose something that doesn’t feel a chore. The words should flow.
8. Prize Information -
There will be no, first blog entered, prize awarded this month.
We don’t want to see rushed entries for the sake of a few dollars. Take your time to perfect your writing as well as how you present your words to the reader.
