I played on 25c/50c push/fold cash table on Sun against a Russian player and played 6 hands which I have listed below.

Hand 1:   8 3 folded pre

Hand 2:   9 10 suited(clubs) allin pre he/she had 65     board 7d Qh 5s Qs As

Hand 3:   4 5 suited(hearts) allin pre he/she had 10 8  board 9d Kd 7h 5d 6c

Hand 4:   J 10  allin pre opp had 6 5  and board was 7h 3c 4s 8d Js

Hand 5:   10 8 suited(spades) allin pre opp had 7 5 suited(hearts) board  7d 6d 3d 10c 4h

Hand 6:   K 3 opp had A 6 called pre i check flop 3c 2h 5h i shove opp calls and Qs 4d

Im not a fool to stay when its clear Im not gonna win so after 6th hand I was off.  Seriously heads up what are the odds of a player hitting 4 str8s in a row.

It didnt stop with that game either as I played another guy in snap $5/$10 p/f and this is how that went.

Hand 1:  Q 10 opp had J6(diamonds) yes he called an allin with j6 and board  Ad 8d 8c 5d Jh  just in case he missed fush lol.

Hand 2: K 3(diamonds) I shove opp called with J 8 flop 9d 10d 7h 3c 8 h  another flopped str8

seen enough and I was ouuta there.

8 hands 5 str8s 2 flopped and 1 flush with a hand they should have folded.

Sunday seems to be one hell of a day for me as last Sun I final tabled in a freeroll and cashed in every freeroll played and won 80% of other SnGs played and won a seat to the eclipse xl $12 tournie through a free sat and this week took a hiding.  Wonder whats in store next week.  Someones due a pasting.

Feel free to post some of your own bad runs.

I do OK at Poker but I have a weakness for Roulette twice last week once Saturday then again Monday I Lost over $1400 There were 11 odd numbers on the row - guess thats 11 to the power 2 - I just kept doubling my stake on Even from starting at $3 to Finishing not realising with 1 $500 Chip which was the limit - so I culd not chase my loses anymore - In no way is that a Natural Run.
The People I watch on VLOGS for 888 & thatother 1  - All run much better than me.
Moan Moan Moan :o(
Cheers Brog

Thanks for posting Colin, thats pretty sick bud and I agree that 11 in a row is not a natural run,  I dont play roullette  but back when I was on Paddy power I won $1400 and blew $700 on Blackjack in a similar way and then cashed out the rest.  Didnt last long It all went back eventually.

Similar to yourself when I stick to poker I do ok and win at a steady rate and build a nice bankroll.  I have built up rolls from $10 to over $1000 through poker on 3 different occasions only to blow them until I read posts on this site on bankroll management.

First one is the one on Paddypower where I flushed it on Blackjack.  Second and third ones on 888 where I was betting on sportsbook while was on major tilt.   I had a ridiculous weakness where I would do a small bet say $5 accumulator involving say 5 or 6 matches and would be to win in region of $400-$600 and I would have 5 matches up and in last game a refereeing decision or last gasp goal would kill me and that was enough to send me into meltdown and I ended up putting $250 on a double in Champ league Barca to bt leverkusen and Arsenal to bt Olympiakos at Emirates and Barca won and Arsenal lost and the rest of that bankroll soon followed.  Good times Lol.

Fortunately I have dealt with that and just avoid using any other form of game and I have built another decent bankroll through poker.  Took me 6 months to build this and one visit to casino would see it crumble in 2 minutes.  This is why I was so animated in earlier posts about 888 offering me freeplays and bonuses got to do with casino.

What makes you guys go on mega tilt.

That wasn't a Mega-Tilt for me John on a totally different site at a different time when I had the Money - I once lost $30,000 in 1 1/2 hrs I'd just sold a house & was going to buy another had the Mortgage all Fixed up - But my Accountant said I could claim the £1K a month Rent (A 5 Bedroom Massive House just for me & Fiancee) back as it was my work place ... sorry boring.
I remember just deciding to play with the odd change then cash out the 30 but as I lost it was mad I was playing Card games that I didn't know how they worked loopy - I think that people are born with an addictive personality - I Drank to Excess/Gambled sometimes Worked very Hard I once went 5 yrs building my Company without 1 day off even Christmas. OK guess about 1% of the above is about betting so apologies but you did ask :)

Those tables can be pretty wild, not much you can do but walk away when your luck is that terrible. I like to take a break when my luck is bad and try another day.

Very sensible advice MT, I think thats what I need to do.  Im logged in  every day for about 5-8 hrs although for alot of that Im just watching cash table play.  Im getting a bit bored at this stage.  Im gonna try playing every second day for a week and then every third day after that and cut the time down to 2-4 hrs on those days and see how that goes.

The luck was back on my side 2day though.  Cashed in all but 1 of the reward freerolls and would have cashed in the other until my KK got mashed by AQ.  I had survived a bad beat 1 hand earlier when all in after the flop with A6 and flop was AKQ and I had so much invested I was commited and he had Q8 he hit the 8 on turn but I got bailed out by a K on river.

I suppose thats why I love poker 1 minute Im on top of the world and the next Im throwing laptops out windows.

Lol I laughed at the throwing the laptops out the window comment. You might be interested in the book called "The mental game of poker" by Jared Tendler, it could help with handling variance. Handling variance and the swings that poker can bring was one of the hardest things for me to overcome, I'm still not perfect but I handle it a lot better now. Good luck on and off the felts.
