Gday all I'm finding my feet again after a good spell away. Mainly not being able to handle the bad luck, poor play and generally not having any fun.

I've had funds at all the main poker sites and let's not get too serious this is purely a hobby when I get free time or the golf course is shut.

Downsides I've had is playing the wrong game for the way I play. On stars I had a really good bankroll going from pretty much £10 investment then I started betting on football and playing super fast games like spin n go 3 man 500 chips super fast blinds. Wondering why people play such bad hands and win with me not being able to adapt my game.

So I crashed out nearly $90 in 4 days which took months to build up slowly. OK I learn a lesson, don't play stuff your not fully committed too.

Cardschat have a regular weekly $100 game so played a few on 888 and liked the table and the feeling #Important
So i invested £10 and started building again, again $80 $90 going well then bam a massive swing losing to good hands and tying to play people of the board. We all know the standard on $1 $3 $5 games people aren't going to let you play strong hands a lot before the random call gets lucky and your game takes a hit. you lose a few on the trot and your in bits.

back down the levels and start again, beat the $1 first and move up again. pro poker labs is an easy way to track your winnings without investing in hud etc.

230+ games to date $40 in the tank I'm in profit PPL says I'm a hundred down no idea what they work on.

my blog is my normal posting area to vent steam, come say hello and happy gaming hope I didn't call with a crap hand again.

Now i am hoping others follow and start posting as its always good to see your fellow members doing what we all love and thats play poker.
I myself will get back updating my journal as want to start myself a challenge next year. ( I have been trying to do my challenges last few years but my health has stopped me reaching my goal.)

Cheers slim its started :-)

add me as a friend and follow my blog all :-) it's really interesting hahahah

I'll update my blog daily as it's easier, and copy paste here the odd snippet

Great news for darts, Rob Cross victory and to be fair this week bets on Lewis and Cross has kept my poker mojo alive when i was at an all time low.

last nights massive bet #$1 at 5/1 punt, got my back to $44 bankroll so I start up with a quality 1hr 25m game on the $3 S&R table.

The standard in the last 5 was superb, probably the best game I've had on 888 to date, very cagey play, some good moves. chip leader when out in 3 hands from playing super solid. I sat tight and pushed under pressure with no lam calls even with chips. being in 5th I sat so tight my hand came AKs it was time to push the 1.6k in blinds 400/200 no point wondering if or see a flop.

The caller BCS had K9o first bad call, next hand pocket JJ same guy all in 7-6 and he's gone and I'm leading, just shows sit in sit tight, these guys respected any raise or all in I made I played very few hands and I hope they just watched rather than played there cards.

My game is super tight these days, new level of it doesn't matter if you fold, your in the game and your time will come when Ace 9 pushes v your monster.

H2H - 15 HANDS BACK AND FORTH A10 V A3 ME WITH CHIPS RIVER 3, SUNDAY IS THE DAY!

Solid few weeks with a new mindset, still a few suck outs and random all in's with a mystery call and hit that needed a lubed finger to get through.

Bankroll improving and my first successful withdrawal just to check it works both ways. up to level 30 since restarting 11th Nov 2017 think I was 7 at that stage.

I was hooked on big levels for the free games but there pointless so no more chasing.

Nice Blog, good luck, 888 seems to be a totally different beast with the really appalling play on here that usually seems to get paid.  I know its probably the same everywhere else, but when I check the flop having been well ahead,  by the river I get done over by a dam chaser who seems to beat my set by a silly 7 2 flush!!!!
