That is more than acceptable to me, well done dootson2, $5 is waiting in your account right now!

Unlucky Cottlad, I would have accepted either answer but as dootson2 got in there first he takes the prize money!

Congratulations to Cheesies and Parsnips, who finished first and second respectively... a fantastic battle to see who took the honours, with young 'twinkletoes' Cheesies pirotting into the night with the main prize... a 4GB IPOD Nano, which really must be music to his ears...

And, to Parsnips...our very own dancing diva, the woman who puts the 'Cha' into cha-cha-cha, $50.00 of music vouchers are winging their way into your account as we speak... enough to replenish your music collection and get rid of all the bad beats...

So congratulations to you both (and apologies to all who think this post is in the wrong tone...)

Okays - as Cottlad was the only player who registered a 'bad beat' nomination during the actual game time, he wins by default (though the beat is not particularly bad, just unfortunate!)

Your buy-in will be returned to you shortly, Cottlad.

In the meantime, please remember everyone that EVERY single forum tournament from here on in will include a 'play of the day' award...

Post your nomination for best laydown, best bluff, best hand, bad beat, etc during the actual tournament to be in with a chance of winning your buy-in back.

We'll go through all claiments and award the prize each week.  Our decision will be final.

Good luck, all!

Oh man,

what about the first hand of heads up with parsnips and cheesies.

Parsnips all-in for the win of the tournament with AK

Cheesies calls with AQ.

Flop AQX

certainly with the $200 riding on the 3 outs that has to take the cake.

I figured it was already mentioned.

And I registered chopping the aces!, I guess no screenshot eh

Dealer >> (Hand# 256326657) aaronlt won $7,262 with Two Pairs Aces and Jacks
chappers1984 >> why did u leave me 1 chip lol
