BTW soz I didnt make tonights game (TBH I am done with forum games :( )
I was made aware recently about the table chat in a CC game I was involved in a few weeks back. I believe it was seen as 'rude' of me not to be chatting / taking part in the banter & 'only in it for the $$'
I can kind of understand this as forum games can be more about the social aspect than the poker a lot of the time (even though this was the Challenge Champion game !!).
I guess I just hoped the fact that I always said 'hello, goodbye & GL' and generaly wished everyone well and as often as possible explained I was playing quite a few tables so was unable to chat a lot would suffice.
I am sure the vast majority of members understood and accepted my lack of chat as anything but being rude etc but it still left a little bit of a sour taste.
Anyways I just felt I should explain the reasons for my my recent (and forthcoming) lack of participation in forum games.
Congrats again Ken and soz for the thread de-rail.

Hope I've misread this idi0 I hope you haven't been offended, as you have done so much for so many of us. Whatever you think to the rest of us you are our forum champion and we all want to see you playing here. As the saying goes "don't let the b*****ds get you down" Good luck in your games :)

Idi0 m8 the vast majority of members DID understand and accepted your lack of chat and we also know you would never be intentionally rude. Please have a rethink about not taking part in forum games as you have helped to inprove so many of our games, and your sense of humour always lights up any forum game.

I aint leaving 888 altogether lol !! I just wont be playing the forum games from now on.
I only really played the CC game (& recently the Omaha game) anyhoo so its no big drama.
Also as I said I can kind of understand why / how this person though I was perhaps being rude etc by not chatting because it was a forum game. (Andrew PM invited me to a forum game during the week which I also felt it best to avoid for the same reasons)
Maybe it was taken out of context and the person was joking. I am not 100% sure as the info has come to me 2nd hand if you like (I did not have the chat open on the table at the time and was told after) again I just seen & understood how it could be seen as rude etc so have decided not to put myself in that position again.

Right 1st I'll comment on Idi0's post - who tf was it Idi0? I think most of us regular players know that you would have a dozen games going at once (only man I know that can multitask lol) but seriously I wouldn't let anyone stop me from playing the games with people I'd regard as friends. Not allowed say it here but fta Idi0, get ur arse back in there m8 caz I for one like taking your chips.
Secondly, I hope I didn't spoil anyones enjoyment in the Omaha League, I've never played it before until this 2nd league started. I trying to learn and I thought by playing this league it would be a good place to start and have the understanding of the forum members. I join the 5.10pm game everyday now just to get in some practice. Now I know pande your the Omaha master but we all gotta learn somewhere so I hope my staying on whatever cards tonight hasn't put you off. I will eventually get the hang of it.
My apologies to anyone who's game I spoiled

I was in the CC game a few weeks ago and I was on the table when a player commented that it seemed that players who didnt chat where in it for the money. I got the impression that might of been directed at Idio but I cant remember who said or if they meant to offend. Personally I'm aware that lots of players multi table and Idio certainly does. Multi tablers have to react so quick to there games that chat is often the last thing on there minds.
So James I would'nt quit playing forum games because of one persons comments as most forum players are fully aware that you might be in a few games at once and dnt see your lack of chat as rude etc! I certainly dont!

Tonights game was actually quite fun D and the whole point of the omaha league is to help people learn so I hope you do keep playing it :) and I am far from a master LOL still learning myself. Takes a lot more than getting knocked out of two games by you in one night to upset me :) I am pretty sure you did not spoil anyones game D and most definitely not mine :)
Getting knocked out by bad beats is part of what omaha is all about and if you cant take that it is not the game for you.
