WWWWOOOOHHHHHOOOO well played yellows, that was a tough, but tight team preformance tonight well played all especially gosling who went on to win
screen shot below shows the rewards of correct team play, tough, but correct.....never ever take out a team mate fold
Just to add we were 3rd at the time and looking like we would need a miracle to win, was this that miracle?
did yellows win this week??? damm & i forgot it was on & missed it typicall... i was too drunk anyways... well done team yellow... maybe it was because i wasnt in it you won. hehehe.

wow did you fold kk for your team mate?? nice ... last week a team member called my all in... so i thought anything goes... its a team game but team members still want to beat you... & will call you but if you folded your kk & he went on to win then you are a stand up guy... but i had to call i had qq against my pocket tens is what he said so i didnt think it was a team choice to call me but it goes to show you that if a team mate gets a hand he will call you .. so it isnt realy a team game if players do this i found out... if you get a hand play it & if a team mate calls you & wins be thankfull it was a team mate & not another team i guess..

In the standard 888 team games, yeah anything goes, but this game has been tailored to reward team play, the prize for the winning team members is usually more per team member than 2nd place, so I'd rather lose a hand and win as a team, and the best way to do that is to have more players at the FT than any other team.
We had 4 yellows at the start of the FT and were still in 3rd place, but out of those 4 we got 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th (I think) and that is what made the difference. If I had taken gosling out here we would have had 3 at the FT and may as well as wrote the game off.
I've checked the Hand History and the round before Gosling folded to my raise in the exact same spot when I raised with 77.
Its worth anyone playing this game reading back through this thread as there is some great advice in here.

yep thats what i would of done ... i went all in & same team member had qq so he called so that ruined my stack & i went out in next hand or so we didnt do well as a team that night but he hadnt played a hand in awhile so he called no probs with that ... i dont expect any team member to fold their cards just beacause i have gone all in... but when you showed that hand i thought now thats the way to play but not everyone is like you so cheers to you & if i play again ile make sure im on your team m888.

Another example of how Yellows team play won them the game last night..... With this hand I was already thinking ahead of what my team mate on my left might do. I could see Jenny was on the big blind and with only a 4 blind stack to play with. If she had anything half decent she could well want to throw it all in here (I know I would). I had a pair of 10's. In any other game this would have been an automatic all in for me, having only 10bb's ish myself, but the last person I wanted to take down was Jenny and I didn't want to force her fold to my all in when she might have had the better hand. So I decided to wait and see how she felt about her cards.  As I had predicted she threw all her chips in.....  and I got out of her way. Leefan had to take the risk of calling in order to wipe out a player from another team here as he was well chipped up or if he did fold it would give Jenny the pre-flop pot.  Leefan called and she won the hand doubling up nicely. Obviously this was awful play by me if I was taking part as an individual. BUT, as a team member, I did what I thought was best for the team at that time. Yes, I would have won the hand, but it could have been at the cost of taking out a team member or Jenny folding a good hand and missing out on a great chance to double and stay in the game. Played as it was, I was no worse off and Jenny had a stack with which she could work with, and both of us were still in the game. The way to win this tournament is to keep as many of your team mates in for as long as possible. And as it turns out, with Awfs very unselfish leg up aswell, Jenny went on to clinch 2nd place and won YELLOWS the game.

Not very often you get to hear this in that position wkd, but good fold.
Still in shock over Goslings attemp to return the favour at the FT. How spectacularly did that go wrong!
Wkd shoved her small stack into Goslings BB, Gosling looked at her hand 63o and thought I ain't going to to win this i'll give wkd some of my chips. 2 6's on the flop and one on the river! sick, but at least this was on the FT with only a couple of blues hanging around to make up the numbers.

I know Awf, just had a feeling she was going to shove and my priority was doing what I could to keep her in. The end justified the means.  Yes, Jennys attempt at paying back the favour did backfire somewhat, through no fault of her own, but the thought was there. lolololol Here are the culprits of my demise....  you can't argue with a hand like that.
