I am pleased to announce that the 2012 Birthday Bash will happen on the 15 – 18 June 2012 in Stoke, UK. This year we will be hosting the poker activities at the Genting Casino in Stoke-on-Trent. I am currently finalizing the activities with the casino and will update this thread accordingly with more details as soon as they are confirmed. Also, look out for promotions that will give some lucky winners free buy-ins to the tournaments as well as cover hotel costs. Great news, will look at booking flights and hotel once I get a chance.
Big thanks to Sean (he does so much work behind the scenes to get this running) - also to Wiggy and everyone else that has provided a valuable input.
Can't wait til meet up with some old friends and meet some new ones.

 gutted I am in greece from the 6th to the 20th hopefully it will be as good as the last 2 for those going and to anyone thinking about going for the first time GET GONE you'll have a blast good luck all and enjoy :-) dunno what to do about the tea pot give me a pm ken m8 we'll ave to sort summat out

Woohoo! Just booked my hotel room ... will get train tickets sorted when we've got a tournament schedule (coming up sometime Saturday morning) Looking forward to meeting lots more forumites in person!  Not sure how much luck I'll have in persuading Sarah to come too. Apologies to the Stokies (Stokers? Stokans?), but she's not too keen on a visit to the Potteries ...

Which hotel have you booked hun? As I think Sean is still in negotiations regarding discounts at one particular hotel but unfortunately I don't have any other info right now.

Booked into Best Western Moat House just down the road from the casino - hopefully it's the right one. Used a discount site so didn't pay the normal rate - worked out at £74.50 a night including breakfast.

That is the hotel we usually stay in, but it is a different casino this time, not sure myself where it is? The Grosvenor we used before was very close Jeanie
