Hi m888s, I have reserved 30 Double Rooms (no singles were left for that weekend) at the Quality Hotel that is across the street from the casino. The rooms will be £65 per night with breakfast included. For that weekend the double room rates will be £85 (due to the Stoke 2012 event happening that weekend too); so this is a good discount for us! I have released the 30 rooms at this hotel now; as I have received mails where everyone is getting better deals online than was offered to me. Therefore, I implore you to go online and book your room(s) ASAP as prices will inevitable go up with the Soke 2012 event occurring that weekend too.

I'm a bit confused: is that for 2 nights or 1? I've found an internet rate of £90 for 2 nights B & B. The above rate seems a bit dear for one night and a bit cheap for two??

Go with the price you found. I will speak with the hotel as to why this is.

Did you include 2 breakfast's as well in your price ? i can't find a better deal than Sean's to be honest so i rang and booked in.
The only thing that isn't mentioned here was the bloke on phone said the £65 was subject to a minimum of 30 rooms being taken by 888 people,if not the price will be £75.
Still all done now if it comes to £75 for 2 with breakfast it still ain't the end of the world.

I went on their website before Sean confirmed the deal and noticed they have a "bed and breakfast offer" which isn't obvious if you follow the normal booking trail. The cost is actually £99 - it was something like £45 before tax (I guess they show the difference for foreign travellers). It says the price is for the double room and can cancel right up until the morning of the booking. I went to find you a link but the offer seems to have gone since yesterday when I booked. Sorry if I effect the target of 30 bookings.

I wonder if perversely Sean reserving 30 rooms has reduced the rooms available for the offer.

I just tried your link Judith. After putting in the weekend dates. I scrolled down to the Bed & Breakfast special offer and clicked there, it came up as available for £49.50 per night (probably without the tax at that stage).

Nope, that was with tax. Here is as far as I could go without actually booking.... I put in the 3 nights Fri/Sat/Sun and total came to £148.59

Thanks for the information Judith. I did some more searching because of what you put and I got the hotel for £150 for Friday until Monday with breakfast included for 2 adults in a twin room  Sharon
