I found it strange that you called his raise after limping pre with Q7 off and as Ken is so tight how can you think you are ahead even with top pair when he bet 3K plus into a 1600 pot?
Not strange at all to me to mention that hand... Luckily we all play different which is what makes hands more talkable about
ive fixed the video so it shows better
Ken is so tight HOW VERY DARE YOU I WILL BUY ANYONE A NICE CUP OF TEA .

The only think I would say to all-in on the flop raise is that the re-raise would have had me thinking has 101 hit AK or even K10 and is therefore likely to call the all-in.
Having said that I don't like the flop bet by Jeanie, I think this should have been higher or a check, but like you say we all play it differently

I thought I was playing ok, obviously a tournament entitled "Beginners Ball" looks like a tank full of shark food, is that really the intention of this exercise? Not a very nice experience.Jeanie Your right Jeanie this is a tourney for beginners and has been set out to help players that are new to the game or that need to improve there game as its constantly changing. Your hand with Bill is very unlucky but you want them calls, and i can see where Bill is coming from as there are numerous players in the forum that you can get of there hands without even looking at your holdings. You just have to be carefull who you are trying to make plays at as some players only play there cards and dont even seem to look at flop so they never fold, which is good if you know the players. I have said this years ago and will say it again the forum games have low buyins and you see certain players making plays that they think its only a $1 it doesnt matter if i lose lets get it in and see if i can hit. Bill says lots play A B C poker on here and a few do but some even play C A B poker, who still have no idea about postion bet sizing etc etc. This tourney will hopefully improve a players game. Maybe you should open up another tourney on this night and let the real beginners play this. Its good to play with better players but if there are more old hands than new players then it defeats the point of the game being a beginners game.

we are all still learning. An what better way of learning than listen to all sides and views & from the players involved in the hands.

wow i find myself posting on an 888 forum(been a while)
ive read 101 say a few times he was playing the player not the cards
so with this id like to say why dont a few of you guys try playing a few games with ya hole cards covered(mtt/sng) and never look at them, not only does this improve ya positional play it also gets you keeping notes on players
i tried this when i read a certain young scandinavian woman won a big online tourney doing this and although i was doing it at much smaller stakes than usual for obvious reasons
those of a nervous disposition are advised not to try this :)

I agree with you we learn every day the game has changed so much from when i started out if we still played like we did then we wouldnt last. its always good to see what other players views are in a hand. If we dont adapt we wont move on.
I have tried that experiment in low buyin sngs and was fun, word of warning its best to let the operator 888 know as when you check your hand history you will find you have folded big hands Aces kings etc as they may think something suspicous is happening if you fold to a 4 bet holding Aces lol.

Well it does make me laugh how the point of the game is totally lost on WELL it is only a $1 game, and how much of that attitude gets taken through into bigger buy in games. Not by all I know but surely that isn't supposed to be what this game is about.
Surely the attitude in any game is for the player to win yes, but oh it's only a $1 game with mates it don't matter I will just donk about.

I was watching a live feed of a game yesterday and I found it very hard to believe the cards players were getting involved with. There is definately a "different" type of poker being played to the one I am used to. Great feedback all thanks.
Post, then make another post and then post even more.

OK i explained my 1 just a few points on the whole post not the hand ..... 1,Crypto u old dinasaur adapt to play like us internet kids or go extinct 2,Shiny the buy in does matter despite what you say,if people play there top limits they are playing scared so don't play properly if people play a minimum amount that doesn't matter to them, they will gamble Im not saying it's right but thats how it is 3,My main point about the $1 rebuy wasn't infact the $1 everyone picked up on,it's the rebuy/add on and so many chips bit,the game would be better as a freeze out 4,Jeanie's got some front moaning about who's playing this beginers game because she's been here longer than most 5,i often join forum games just to support them and have a chat really, some of these games i would never play if they was in main lobby, but a couple of times now i've wondered wether i should have bothered, 1 was morning league final day,i never knew it was final day and that i could donk someone out and cost them title, another was the hi/lo when i took a load of abuse from 1 player (well gave it back as well tbh) and now it's seem's i've upset Jeanie again which is last thing i want because she seem's a lovely lady when she aint moaning at me so should members join these games or not ? 6,Just so you know my luck's same as everyone some hands i win some i lose,i went out this game my AA v QQ Q on River ,justice 4 Jeanie maybe Good Luck @ the tables,im off to Dublin

Good luck in Dublin mate.
I think its good to talk about hands and it should involve all the tourneys if some 1 wants to post up hands from another tourney then do it, its always good to get the views from players on how they called etc etc. If we all played the same the game would be boring.
