Any idea when tournaments will be working with the app?
I registered for a couple of the xmas freerolls but had to abandon them as the app doesn't work with them (I get the empty table, and it sits me in the last tournament I registered for). Something basic would work for me - a My Tournaments button to join pre-registered tournies, alongside some basic info like run-time, player position, next break (etc).

I have had no trouble playing tournies on the app, although have not tried anything as mamouth as the xmas freerolls.
You do have to pre-register as you say you have done, but then you have to load the app after tournement seating has completed (if opened before you are left sat at a blank table), which could have been the issue as I have only entered a couple of these and even on the PC software they take a long time to seat.
As you say it would be useful to get basic info on the tournemt or game you are in, something like the info button you get on the normal chat window showing number of players, positiong, time to next blind, time to next break etc

Hi (need newbie help here),
I tried the link http://www.888poker.com/androidapp but this instantly redirects me to http://www.888poker.com (i.e. no download, just flashes a screen giving info on downloading & installing app before redirecting)...
but when I tried the link http://www.888poker.com/newandroidapp this takes me to a direct download for 888Poker.zip (?!?).
Do I just rename 888Poker.zip to 888Poker.apk to install on my Android device?
