I have an Idea that in my opinion could encourage more user traffic and make poker play just that bit more fun.
(A) Have a 3 tier Monthly leaderboard for Scheduled tournament play. (Ist tier) low stakes (2nd tier )Medium stakes and (3rd tier )High stakes. Players earn points according to their buyin multiplied by finishing position. Winners of each tier get some type of reward.
(B) Have a 3 tier system for players to represent their country in a FINAL TOURNEY where 1 country is crowned 888 Olympics poker Gold Medalists. (Ist tier) a 2 stage freeroll for everyone. First stage of daily freerolls pays say top 5 to the 2nd stage freeroll where say 2 lucky freerollers get to represent their country. (2nd Tier) low buy in cash satellites (3rd tier) direct buy ins.
What do people think about this idea??

Obviously a great idea, but something we heard before..
I remember when i just joined here, we had a topic about it, and hopes from the people where pretty high about this idea, and i got told this was to be expected really soon..
Well that wasssss... 7 months ago?
But it's still a great addition that im sure many would (still) like to see ..

Pretty awesome idea! Should fit really well with the whole 888 setup/strategy. (we play different)

Thankyou for your feedback on the subject Reraise999. I hope 888poker pour some more money into their tech department and get Some of these Ideas up and running. It has to be a win win for both the player and the site in my opinion. Site gets loads of traffic and customers gets a fun format.
