Hey guys, just wondering if any of you's top onliner's lol can pass me some of your wizedom of getting totally card dead... The thing that happens to me on more than 1 occasion, at very critical times deep in tournamnets , esp when approaching or even on the Final Table.., i get really deep when around 20-25 just say.., and i have around a M of 10-15 ., then bang i get COMPLETLY card dead, to the piont where i have 10 BB's left and i need to shove, this had cost some serious cash's, esp the other week in Sunday Mega.. Now commen sence tells me to bluff in position and pray, wait and look for spots which i do, but i just knew sometimes its no good to bluff in position depending on the action before you ie, x3 raise then 3 bet etc.. so do any of you guys have any tips when you get so deep and this happens to yous.? maybe see yous at the FT ;) ( if i dont get card dead )

i usually drink or smoke excessively untill all cards start to look pretty  Problem solved!

the only suggestion i can offer, is to pass on the 10 big blind push. hold your push till 5 or 6 bb's, this gives you the opportunity to see 1 or 2 more rounds. you still have to get lucky, but it may let you hit that double-up or two, or at worst, you may gain a higher pay-out

You are obviously doing something right to get to the later stages of tournements (wish I could at the moment going through a tough time the last few weeks). I never say I,m card dead as you always have 2 playable cards in front of you, just situational dead where as you say you have bet and 3 bet action before you. A lot of people in the later stages are just hoping to FT and then take it from their, recognising who these players are and taking advantage of them is vital in building a stack which gives you the chance to win the tourney. (something i need to work on myself). Also other players chip stacks is important, don,t want to 3 bet someone light when they are going to be priced in with any 2 cards, also be vary of late steals against the blinds if they have good reshove stacks. Hope this helps, no offence if you disregard all that I,ve said considering i can,t seem to do anything right at the present time

if it is folded around to you on the botton just push every time the sb and bb have to have a good hand to call.
