atm your hand is the best, but of course there are many possible draws. i wouldnt like only to call that hand down and give others the nearly free chance to hit their draw. knowing its the ft now with you being the 2nd shortest i would take the risk to add few chips to my stack and shove allin. if all folding the alliner cant kill you, if you getting another caller and are winning the hand you are back on top. for me in this case it wouldnt matter if having notes on other players, its an easy decision to shove(for me lol)

Hi Slim Im going to disagree with Zock ....I may well shove but what i dont like is that you also hold a 10 in your hand ...... unless you know the chip leader is a chip lead bully and a bluffer. Im letting this one go and hope the chip leader takes out the small stack .....giveing me more money and then find an other spot..... well just my thoughts ......
will be interested to see what you did and what the outcome was.
Andy
If your going to call .... make sure you have a big pair !

I would probably call and hope the turn brings 10 Clubs and the big stack makes his Ace high flush. woohoo. You know I know nowt about hi-lo and can't play it for toffee. I hope you cleared this one Slim for a nice chip up.

I pushed allin but going over my hand history with him what i should have done was call like Dory suggested as the guy had the wrap around the flop, calling would have left me 15k and i can see what happens on turn. The turn brought the straight and the river blanked, i was never folding in this spot as having top set but i should have just called. With his wrap he is 55% to win the hand and even though im holding a strong hand with top set im only 45%. I was hoping that him being the big blind he was holding a weakish hand and would fold to my shove but he was holding a monster to that flop, so Dory even though you say you know nowt you know more than you think.

Zocks right
personally id have folded pre but once you've called you got to jam allin on that flop you've got 7 bb only ,there is no other logical play, your short stacked and the money only go's up big towards the end
Andy's point about taking 1 more place isn't a good 1 because 1 place would probably be about $10/20 difference at this stage and you need double up to get amongst real money
if your calling over 10% of your stack pre what better flop do you want ?
nice result Slim and the all in is 100% the right play anything else with your stack is very weak , overall going for the win pays off rather than low f/t places

Am always trying for the win as your right the bigger money is in the top spots. This tourney is a massive minefield early stages and you get to see some terrible play rewarded and once they have a big stack it often grows bigger as they cant fold any hand. The table i was on last night i saw some very strange calls pre and on the flop. Just wish some of these players played the cash tables as they wouldnt last long.
I will win this 1day lol.

The low limit tables are full of crazy play at the moment and the last week i have seen some unbelivble play, now i hate making a large pot pre-flop even with very strong hands as you often get players stacking off with cr8p and gambling, but some of the hands they are getting it allin with you have to gamble. In this hand i only have info on the 1 player and know he gets it in light so wanted to isolate him. It ended up 3 players going allin pre, now i didnt have a super strong hand but there hands were just crazy, and you will see this sort of play at least once every 50 hands, so as long as you are going in with stronger hands and 9-10 you will be in the low limits in the long run you will make a few dollars.
