Well it looks like only a matter of time now before i, hate to say it but quit 888 ffs unless i have a win or decent cash soon. All i have is the worst luck on this site now since the start of this year with only 2 mtt i can think of where i cashed in ok but then its all down hill again. Depositing at least 4 times last month which i dont recall ever doing before. I dont play to constantly lose lose lose but i know when i see bad luck and thats all i seem to get now on 888 which was the reason i took off 3 weeks of poker play from 888 in March this year but i can tell you this much when my BR reaches $0 again it will be a hell of alot longer than 3 weeks time off because im not depositing no more anytime soon or in the near future. Once was a winning player but now a losing player on 888.... sigh

Well, my bad luck just continues on 888. I know variance can be a killa and thats what its doing since January. I wouldnt mind some useful helpful advice from some of you bigger longterm players how to shake off this bad luck because believe me this is not a nice feeling coming from a used to be winning player. Good luck to you all.

You have 3 choices Bullets.
1) Spend time out working on your hand history (if you dnt have pt3 get it) and restructuring your game and come back with a plan that you stick to. I have done this three times since I started playing on 888 in 2005 and I am considering doing it again soon.
2) Carry on as you are and simply play through the bad patch in the hope that you swing back to winning. If your game is already good you should consider this because bad luck is bad luck and will pass. Show caution if you try to play through it though incase your game tightens up to much without you realising it especially in multi tournies.
3) Give up and write the site off as a site with a juiced up rng where plenty of fishes frequently **** you.
Personally I used to take out about 2k per month just playing 10 and 20 dollar multis and used to win at least 1- 1k game per week and I pretty much owned the old 4k game but hit a wall and although I very much am still a winning player with a solid record and stats I havn't yet managed to get back to that level.
Hope this helps

I been playing a long time now even before the big boom and i know how you are feeling, there was a time where no matter how good i was getting it in i was being killed on the river and if i was playing tourneys going deep i just couldnt seem to win the coin flips. When you are on a bad run it affects our confidence and makes us scared to play poker how we should be. What i done was take a break went on holiday and came back chatted to a few mates who play daily for a living and they put my head straight. I was adviced to take a step back and move down the lvls, when you play lower lvls i know you dont make great money but it rebuilds your confidence when you have winning sessions. I have no problems playing on a $20 or $10 table if it sorts my head out and gets my mind playing solid poker . When im running bad on cash tables i load up some tourneys or sngs or change from omaha to hold em or even go back playing stud, sometimes you need to have a break from what you are doing daily so if you are a tourney player make a change and hit the cash tables, or play some HU sngs. And like Rod says we all have bad luck and can have long periods where we have losing sessions, as long as your going over your hand historys and can see its not your play but it is bad luck. I wish you luck in the future, and hope you get back to winning ways soon. And i think i need to play more tourneys cos if Rod is making 2k a month from them, then i think i have a squeak as well.

Actually slim I did say "used to" I havnt performed to that level for at least a couple of years now as I lost two 700+ bankrolls due to a prolonged period of horrendous bad beats and never really recovered. These days I make a few hundred and take it out just to help out with living expenses etc and so I dont get the chance to bankroll build anymore and step up to the bigger games.
I have a good BR now though so watch this space as I'm playing well atm and making the cash frequently. (like the good old days:).
