I had a word with the slacker and told him to get his finger out and finish what he starts

  1. Raise. You probably have the best hand and want to pressure the blinds.
  2. Fold. Most of the big cards are probably already out and you could easily be up against Aces or Kings.
  3. Re-raise. You want to get it head-up and are a favourite to have the best hand.
  4. Raise. You probably have the best hand
  5. Call. See the flop cheap -- You are trying to flop a set or you will have to fold after the flop.
  6. Call. This hand plays best with lots of callers and as cheap as possible.
  7. Fold. You can't possibly have the best hand here and could get in big trouble if you flop a pair
  8. Fold. You need lots of callers to justify playing
  9. Fold. This hand costs players a lot of money played out of position and you don't know what you want to flop
  10. Call. With one big bet already in you are getting good odds for your call.
  11. Fold. No position and no price
  12. Call. Now you are getting a good price for one more bet
  13. Raise. You probably have the best hand and even if you are called you still have position
  14. Re-raise. Try to isolate with position and probably the best hand
  15. Call. A raise will not get it heads up and you will probably need to flop a set.
  16. Call. See the flop cheap -- A raise will not drive anyone out
  17. Fold. No price and too weak to raise
  18. Re-raise. Get it heads-up if possible with position. You probably have the best hand
  19. Raise. Try to get out the blinds
  20. A raise will not get anyone out and you can surprise everyone about the strength of your hand. A raise is also reasonable too.

I got 17.5 out of 20, I raised hand 20 because I want to play a decent pot with a pocket pair against a passive table

you are in a no-fold'em Hold 'Em game where almost every player is seeing each flop. There is not a lot of pre-flop raising. Most of the time everyone just calls to see a cheap flop

Well if people are seeing cheap flops because people are not raising shouldn't you be the one to change that? people call to see a cheap flop? do they call a raise because they understand the math odd/outs/ implied odds, or because they can?

can you play 22 as AA on a favourable board having raised pre flop? people can only teach the way they play and quizes are full of if or what answers, if there are 2 answers to a question you will get it right 100% of the time as long as you know the basics, how can you be wrong if the alternative is right?

Here's a typical question

11)          In a no-limit hold'em tournament, you make it to the final table. The structure is $100 ante, $200-400 blind. Nine players are left, and you have $3500 in chips. The big blind has $4000, one guy in the tournament (the player on your right) has $3000, and everyone else has at least $5000. The event pays eight places only. You are on the button with Ks-8h and everyone folds in front of you. What do you do?

    Fold

    Call

    Raise all-in

Your Answer: Fold

Correct Answer: Raise all-in. You should give yourself the best chance to finish in a high place, not try to sneak in for the minimum payoff. The big blind is not looking to play a pot with you here. It is first come, first served, so scoot the loot and pray. That king may turn out to be an overcard if you get called, so you do have an escape hatch in many situations.

1.Complete twaddle, for a start how does the ante ever become 100 with a 400 BB online? if your playing a 25% ante then get help!

2. yes we want to play for the highest finish but the information we have tells us the SB has 5000+ (and everyone else has at least $5000) it doesn't say what the SB has though, so I shove my K8 which the SB expects because I need to put pressure on the BB, what does the SB need to have to call? assuming he knows the game and the players in it

What really makes this a stupid question and answer is this "so scoot the loot and pray"

It looks like a question asked that can never be wrong, the real question is with K8 off suit how many times can you shove with 2 opponents to act and info on only one who has you covered?

"so scoot the loot and pray" and the guy is a teacher?

better late than never m888. & as i said i would be back on the grind but havnt been i have spent all my time in the sats there is just so many different ones i hardly have the time to sit at the fixed tables lately but havnt forgot them, i have picked up quite alot of cash lately in the sat games having been bubble boy in way to many but the cash for just missing out on a seat has kept me afloat, so had no need to gather cash on the ring tables, i will have to get back into the groove on the fixed tables tho as i belive you can make a profit, it never is going to huge cash profits on a daily base but over a month grinding i still belive you can make enough money to fund all your other games.

no i would fold here as he will call with any 2 cards & we all know that most times he will eliminate us, u got one orbit left so look for a better hand & hope that someonelse gets knocked out before us, if im going to go all in i would prob do it under the gun on the next orbit. & yep if that is the ante im contacting support LOL.
