Ok so its at final table 9 handed (105 started), 11 places were paid, €4,800 up top.

My stack 720k (chippo). BB 20k (2k ante), av stack 280 or 300k (was very shallow) (and I had been pre-warned/was very aware that it would be shallow at final table).

Folded round to me on Cut-off with KQ off.
I raise to 42k, button (middle ages guy) instant shoves 248k.

EDITED for stacks:
SB was playing fairly tight, he was at my table with 2 table left, was aggressive player with chips but had short stack around 200k. he was defo in shove or fold territory but I think he knew from the previous table I wasn't afraid to play big pots and use position and felt he would know I would call him off in a lot of spots if I felt I was flipping or 60/40 against most of his range. especially with such a healthy stack.

BB was very nitty and was very rarely going to make a move on me here without the goods, knew her game very well. She was tightest at table. Think she has a lot of respect for my game and know I am aggressive etc especially in this situation at final tables, but she would not have felt comofortable making a move on me here as she was too short to guarantee a fold and she would have been looking to ladder up the money. Her stack was around 160k.

We had played around 30 hands at final table, villian was not overly active, the 3 hands he did play were all late position open shoves (as I rem). He seemed to have been looking a spot to get it in. He had qualified via some poker league and was wearing the T-shirt.

My image was probably young aggressive guy in hoody, he was at the other table when 2 tables left but I was playing super aggressive at my table (especially in late pos) and am sure some of his friends told him that at break before final table.

So hero should ... ?

It's a very close call? I would be happy with what ever I decided to do on that day.
I would expext the KQo to be a tiny underdog even with your raise being from the CO.

It comes down to your peception of his shove range there given that he could have yours quite wide in his mind etc etc?

Too close, toss a coin lol.
Sorry I couldn't help.

Lol Daryl  after my last post I was playing a tourney  and had  KQ off, three of us started raising preflop, I bailed when it became all in. They both had A something Ak A9? and the pot was split, how did yours go.

Daryl could you please read my post in the stats thread? cheers M8.

Basically it was bad call because

a,Daryl was a far better player and would have got the chips anyway without giving the man a spin for half a million chips

b,the bloke had pushed 3 times before with AK,AQ and 9s so KQ was probably crushed and racing at very best,to be fair twice was before Daryl came to the table

im off to Brum GL all

pretty sure the 5 hands I saw him play were A K AQs KK AA and 99but tbh here raise folding is just bad.. Daryl had a good spot with Kay in the BB and this guy in the SB should have made better use of it ..these 2 were the tightest players in the tourney..once you have raised here you got to call off his shove daryl was lucky to run into the very bottom of the guys range here!!

I called, raise folding is HORRIBLE here, and I wasn't as aware that the guy was a nit as I had not played with him until the final table.

He had AJ and I spiked a King.

Rod I have looked through your posts and the forum and can't see which stats thread you mean. PM me a link and I will have a look later. Or even just post it in here as a reply.
