If stats show that a guy (Nit) only enters 20% of all hands he sees? and folds 50% of those before a showdown? (sound familiar?) you could raise him every single hand without bothering about your own cards. Eventually you will have all his chips, no skill required.
Interesting , at least I now know why so many people are comming over the top of me all the time... I folded some good hands too ... gave opponent to much respect , hummmmm have to work on that . Thanks Rod for the heads up.

now you no this .do you chage your style?you must mix it up now & then against the same players because they have this info on you. enter 20% fold 50% in 1 game then next time you play them change your play, if a player allways 3 bets with every hand then what cards are they playing,or if they 5 bet with some 3 bet with others pre flop are they playing better cards ?? mix your betting up ,.

If you allways raise the same amount with your entire range from any position which part of your range does your opponent put you on?
Does he re raise hoping to narrow the range hoping he hasn't picked the wrong spot? or does he call hoping to narrow the range on the flop?
It's as important to study your opponents play as it is to study your own, some players will take option 1 and fold to an unfavourable flop and a C-bet, others will take option 2 and re raise a C-bet attempting to narrow the range, this is where tracking software is very helpful

yuppers , can see where lacking this tool is a severe handicap online..... oh well I will have to make do till such time as getting one is feasible . As for the questions , for me it would be option 3 raise because they are 85% sure I would fold.... some ranges are hard to put people on because of the any card rule they follow . I check my play the opponents play but come up short because I fold and do not know what cards they entered with.
PS... when you say three bet , 4bet or 5bet do you mean overall or on each street ?

Without a tracking program we might wonder why we had a bad day? and beat up on ourselves? Here is every hand of my last 1 day, all 133 of them LOL , 10 nlh tourneys My hand groupings lol, this is from HM2 The hole card heat map, it shows which hands you recieved and how they went, the darker the red? the more you lost. The first pic is after 50 odd hands the next includes the next 100 hands too lol. BIG pairs lol All my big aces Mid pairs lolol My AK etc got crushed by mid or small pairs, my big, mid and small pairs got crushed by AK, A5 etc, it didn't matter what I did, it was wrong. If every day was like this, I couldn't allow myself to continue, as it would clearly be a TOTAL waste of time. I'm so glad this type of days are rare. Variance is a pain in the Ar*&%$ss and the bankroll lol. Oh well, I did cash in both of my plo8 games an Mtt and a 6 max lol.
