I have decided to revive this, for those not aware I used to blog but not just poker, life, rants, personal bookkmarks and live events, and I think I will still do this But today I have put up a blog about range finding, feel free to comment, also feel free to ask for blogs about anything you want discussed, this will never rival Aarons blog but I'll do my best to research any question asked or give an honest opinion of my way of playing hands Sometimes blogs take a while to go live, but if announced you will always find them here http://my.888poker.com/wiggy/blog/?pref_tab=blog There was no moderation here. I was trying to make the link clickable.

I don't mean to seem cocky and to have enough knownledge in that domain. I actually checked that out because it is an area I should definitly improve. But there are some things I know tho.
Saying that you have Enough outs to justify a call against a flop 5 bet With middle pair because you have "enough" outs sounds totally retarded. in fact you have around 20 equity in the best case with around 5 outs . That was the part that I really disliked. secundo on the first hand you have around 10 outs . Wich is way better if you checkraised allin. I think checkraising should be done when you have a fair equity to win in case you are called. In the case you check raise with middle pair:you are either A: making the hand you will beat fold. B: being called by better.
Sorry for being a bit rude. And if I'm wrong plz tell me.

Ty it's always nice to have it confirmed that you're retarded
Just a few things to add
Where is the 5 bet? you don't just keep adding the bets up as you go you start again in each round, therefore when you check to him he continues to bet C-bet not 5 bet
Now you say you have 10 outs in the first hand? in the description I am basing my outs on the betting, my opponent raised pre flop then called my re raise, it would be wrong of me to rule out ace hands from his range and puts AK within range, so looking at that we now know that a 5 splits the pot so a 5 isn't a winning card, if he has AK we can't hit an A as we are already behind to the K kicker leaving 3 queens as potential outs, we have 10 outs only if we never put him on an ace, 3 x aces 3 x queens and 4 x 5's, equity calculators show your odds of winning or losing the hand and your odds of splitting the pot, therefore I never count cards that will split a pot as a potential out, so not being able to rule out an Ax hand I can't count the 4 5's as winning outs
Hand 2 you say only has 5 outs? I really don't understand that, you hold Kh,Th the flop is Ah, 7h, Tc, with the Ah on the board and the Kh in your hand any heart gives you the nut flush, there are 9 hearts still available so that's 9 outs, now with just 9 outs and 2 cards to come you use the rule of 4 and 2 to calculate your hand odds, with 2 cards to come you multiply your outs by 4 so 36%, if you check raise and he shoves you have a 36% chance of winning the hand even if only hitting a heart wins for you, but another T could be an out if he doesn't hold AT adding 2 more outs so now you have 11 outs 44%, so if the amount to call the shove is between 36-44% of the pot you have the odds to call
I'm happy to discuss this further, and I'll get somebody I know to check my reasoning because if it is wrong it needs changing
Feel free to drop in anytime and discuss things with us, but could you try to leave the insults out nex time please
