thanks wkdwitch... yes i will stay sober for this game but when im drunk i sometimes take more risks & forget about the money & just play, with no cares in the world. i might have a few to loosen up, lol. but i will not have 14 beers before the game thoe. i still cant belive it. im so happy right now.

Good luck with it Daz.
It is possible that a beer or two may be what you need to be in the right frame of mind, as opposed to someone with maniac tendencies that would go way over the top after a few beers.
My station manager almost forced me to have a schooner before my first live fm radio show. It worked and soon I didn't need a beer to be in the right relaxed state.

hi m888s ... ok i have changed my tactict in approaching the mega deepstack games, i no longer will be playing the $1 buck sats as they are a bingo game & or a lottery, i have descided the way to go is buy straight into the step 2 & i have given myself a budget of 2 buy ins a week, luckily for me i won a seat last night in my 1st try so i think this is the best way to go as you could spend 3 or 4 bucks trying to get in but still not get in. so save you 3 bucks a day & evey 3rd day with the money you have saved by not playing the 1 buck sats use it to buy into the step2, this stops the constant bad beats & donk plays as players play ridiculous hands & some are so jammy. if i win the step 3 on sat night i will be a busy boy on sunday night monday morning & im due to get in so good luck to me. i took the advice of a fellow player on this & i must say it makes alot more sense. cheers Darren.

well thet say the earlie bird gets the worm,& my last name is a bird, so im going to do something new & go to bed earlie, as i got a big game on at 630am & i want to be fresh. i didnt get into the mega deepstack games so in a way thats good beacause i can get some sleep. hoping for some sweet dreams tonight & an ever sweeter morning, its all about preperation.oh & ive stayed sober. lol. hopefully tommorow ile have something to post about.

hi m888s well end of the week & not much to show for it, WSOP game i finished 12th out of 52 runners, so no joy there final hand i went out with was me on short stack with 99 against ace5 off & saw him hit his ace on river. it was a great game against a quality field & the experience was priceless as this was my biggest online game to date. so a new week is here & a new goal has been set, try 2 qualify for WSOP again, aswell as a few cracks at the megga deepstack games. oh & the new game aswell, the super xl games.
