i have a question in this case. i would like to know why the different pokersites are having different terms and condtions, special for me as a german player and what 888 has planed in the future. earlier times i had an acount with littlewoods when it was working together with 888. few months ago they sent me my bankroll by cheque, closed my account and told me they dont accept players from germany anymore. when googling another site that is much advertised atm on television i saw the same. so does anyone here know if the german players are in danger to get kicked here on 888 aswell sooner or later like it happened for example to the spanish ones?

I certainly hope not as all these governments are slowly destroying the on-line poker community! America, Denmark, Spain, who next?
The whole attraction with any on-line game not just poker is the ability to play against people all over the world, bring us all as human beings closer together and create more of an understanding of other cultures, ways of life, and more importantly senses of humour.

yea well said, i love that fact i can play players from all over the world that is the main attraction if i could only play aussies that would be boring, i was shocked to hear spain arnt on this site anymore i second awfs comments.

i dont think the news is good ..... the rumors are strong that germany in next on the list .... after banning USA, the french not sure it was denmark or sweden the belgiums the spanish and italians and a few others in the old east euroupen ..... i know its not 888 fault but that of the individul countries goverments ......
But you wasteing you time asking 888 for clarification and support ..... when this happens 888 will treat you like sXXX ...... obviously 888 must know when its going to happen as the have to set up a seperate skin for that country ...which takes weeks of planning ...... the first you will know about it is you will logg into your account and it will just say it has been closed and check your email ...... you will loose all your loyalty points and your status level ....(so if i was you i would keep cashing them out .... you will lose all you tickets (if you ever got any) you will loose and step games you are half way through and you will loose your status in any league games you are playing .... so the tue omaha, Wed Sud and Morning league all that will be wasted ..... you will get no warning or compensation they have done it to so many players ask Daley (now back in uk) played the 3rd of 7 omaha league game on tue and on wednesday .... BANNED ..... Hardy4W in Denmark played 15 morning league games and was in the top 5 day 16 BANNED never to be seen again .... so would be very careful ..... because 888 will not be there to support you but just to cut you loose.
your only good news is that you split your time between germany and the UK so once you loose your account you will proberbly be able to open a new account from eastborne but only be able to play it when your in the uk but you user name Zockgott will be gone for ever.

I am not aware of any impending regulatory issue in Germany, and am pretty sure there is not one. However, to be 100% sure I will enquire further and get a response for you in due course.

thx sean for this feedback, and thx andy aswell.
i was asking this because i knew what happened to hardy, and it gives a bad feeling. i know that some stuff wont be discussed this much in public, but what made me realy thinking was the reaction by littlewoods telling me they will contact me if some things changed. so what things have to change!? why isnt 888 doing anything in germany, why a big live tournament by another site in germany got cancelled, why is a site i realy have trust in(888 btw) is treating me kind of normal(like english lol ... kind of normal i said) but other english sites dont!? questions, questions, questions lol and hoping for sean to tell me whats going on. anyways, we will see, and "zockgott" never will go ;)

Zock I know littlewoods is being re structured, maybe that was the issue (don't use the poker site so can't say for sure) I think the German tournament that was cancelled was due to the financier pulling out of all promotions, I'll see if I can find it somewhere
I haven't heard of any problems for German players, but that doesn't mean there wont be any, you should be able to find information in local govement sites m8, usually tucked away in the "also on the agenda" section
And of course zockgott will never go, you'll allways be zockgott to us

... isnt only littlewoods, its the same with this wsop site, germans are not egible to join. and i think that site is only another skin by 888!? if its this way why does a pokercompany choose to have different term and conditions in its own games/skins? i havent had a look yet on all the other 888-skins, but makes me still thinking
