good points there rod. i would be concious of wanting to do well but would have more freedom aswell with nothing to lose but everything to gain. as ive never been staked it would be a interesting to see if it changed his play, as for me i play the same no matter what, 1 buck game or a 500 buck game. oviously the higher the buy in the more you risk but i dont feel the added presure, i just play my natural game.

ssestig1989 did the staking change your game at all? I have had a mate want to stake me to a big buyin tourney but couldn't do it, it didn't feel right as he would feel the loss if that's what happened. I'm wondering if it played on your mind on every decision? or tough ones? on the bubble etc or did it give you a sense of added freedom given that you had none of your own money on the line?
Bearing in mind that it was the 1st time i'd ever been staked it was a whole new experience to me but it was something I enjoyed. I played it as though I had the appropriate bankroll to buy in myself and played it as though it was my money on the line rather than IM101. Similar to Darren's post above I feel I play a similar game no matter the buyin as that is the way I feel most comfortable in.

Thanks for the honest replys guys, I'de like to think it would be the same too but I know my "A game" is dimmed when I play above my normal rolls level. Not always because of the advanced skills on show but the thought that if i don't at least min cash? i will feel the loss hard. It slows me down at the wrong times.
