We've done it again!
Our hugely popular jackpot-style BLAST Poker game has paid out massively over the weekend. Two whopping prize pools of $300,000 and $50,000 were hit at $30 buy-in and $5 buy-in tables by 8 very lucky 888poker players.

BLAST tables are four-handed turbo Sit & Go's and the prize pool isn't shown until the game start. Can you imagine the excitement on the players' faces when they saw $300K light up? The prize pool varies between 2 times and 10,000 times the buy-in and, in this instance, the maximum amount was dialed up on both tables.

A $300K Prize Pool is Hit

In the 300K game, the top payout of $180,000 went to Swedish player, bucopepic, taking down runner-up sreutov from Russia, who didn't do too shabbily either with a $60,000 payday. Third and fourth place finishers took home $30K each.

The final hand saw bucopepic all-in pre-flop with 6c5c. The flop came down 8-5-7, turn 2, river 4, and it was all over.

Another Big Pay Out!

In the second big win of the weekend, player Mn79Ben, an 888poker member for 2 years hailing from Malaysia, hit it big in a BLAST SnG with a $50K prize pool.

The last hand featured an all-in with Mn79Ben holding two black Queens up against Ah6c. The Queens held, and Mn79Ben walked away with the top prize of $30,000.

Second-place finisher, mario868116 from Russia bagged $10,000 and 4th and 5th place each received $5,000.

All-in-all it's been a fantastic weekend for 888poker players. Make sure you don't miss the chance of bagging yourself a big payday at our BLAST poker tables!

Yeah there's no question about it...the BLAST games are FUN but i'll admit to not playing them as much as i would like for two reasons...

1) I play LOW STAKES games so the 10c Blast games on the odd occasion, maybe the $1 Blast game every now & again and very rarely the $5 game (which the last time i played it i think payed off rather hansomely) and so obviously playing these low staked games will not pay out too much, seems to be just double most times for me.

2) And that's the other reason i don't play 'em too often!
There is usually or so it seems on most occasions just the ONE WINNER, after the spin to see the Prize Payout has been discovered...and with many chancing their arms on this game, it seems more of a game of chance than other games / tournaments.

If 2nd place of 4 had a guaranteed payment / profit i'm sure i would play more but as is, it's just a now and then game for me despite it being FUN and EDGE of ya SEAT STUFF!

As for the...
"Can you imagine the excitement on the players' faces when they saw $300K light up?" scenario!
Well NO, not really! that kinda thing never seems to happen to me!
I've played the ALL in GAME ticket game many times over many promotions and up until yesterday never won a thing! always seem to lose early (1st or 2nd round) but hey i finally won something Surprised "A Set of 888 Branded Poker Cards" not bad for nothing!

But i'll probably never see such a scenario as the one above...even on the rare occassion i decide to try a $5 game it's never gonna show up 300K but your right Dub for these that do play this and this becomes a reality it must be the MOST EXCITING thing that might have happened to them...GOOD thing is ALL 4 players come away with something! so you could go ALL IN round 1 and get life changing money & GOOD Luck to 'Em.

Good Game though (BLAST) but i think i'll still stick to my low buy in Tourney's Smile

Nearly 5000 games that is good going. Would be good to know what is your aproach to these games and tactics you use.
Hope you hit that jackpot spin.
