You wouldn't believe the incredible run of crazy 'bad luck' I have had over 3 days solid. Time and time again getting beat by idiots going all in with 10's 5's unsuited etc and flushing or tripping or straights and I'm sitting with bullets or top cards suited. It got like it was some kind of joke that 888 was playing on me. It was constant.

I want to be philosophical about it,Im only a $1/$3 table player so it's not a lot  of money to lose but the relentless losing against all-in bluffs or people re-raising with nothing and getting beat on the river is just crazy. These are hands that are quite remarkable on real tables and would have people talking about them for days after  but have been absolutely commonplace for days now.

Maybe it is just a bad phase, and I'm not a great player,so I will go lick my wounds and maybe I will feel different in a few days but right now I feel like packing the whole thing in.

Rant over.

I hear ya Gerry, we all hear ya m8.
I try to take comfort from the fact that people much smarter than me, say  it's just the laws of LARGE NUMBERS. I don't fully understand it yet but OH I do try.

Usually after I've  had a rant here and relax a little, I go over all the hands peeeing me off and see that some were more standard than I remember them to be. Take them off the list and a few more that I bodged bably and  it looks close to expected.

It sure feels like we are getting battered but??????? I'm still on the fence.

What  to do? play a set (5-10) of husngs, purer maths for distributions  etc and you get lots of postflop practice.

GL poker bro.
Never look down on anyone unless it's to help them back up.

Man I hear you, been running really bad. Even my old stand by double up SNG is killing me.

It seems like the chip leader can win any 2 cards unless its me.

So frustrating, try to play premium hands and the flop is a killer everytime, someone always has the better hand.

I like playing poker, but it would be more fun to at least catch a break every now and again.

Well I got all todays losses back. Entered a .50 MTT. 2000 people in it. Started off pretty slow, lots of patience which is not my strong suit. Before the first break I had managed a stack 7X the starting stack. I clicked sit-out and went for a 2 hour nap. Came back to a stack 4X the blinds and shoved a couple times and managed to get a workable stack. Careful play of only premium hands, just limping into flops where I could, and slowly built a stack. Made the final table and finished in 7th.

I would like to make an honest request of the owners though. People know the chip leader wins the pre-flop race 2/3 of the time with any 2 cards. It makes the game less interesting and makes you feel ripped off. Anyway, not starting anything, just a suggestion.

Well above was precisely the last good thing to happen to me. Tried my luck at micro ring games. The game is a rip off, no fcking way I can lose 50 races in a row on 2 outers on the river, all after the little burp the game makes before its dealt. Because I made a deposit and support the site, what you see me as an open bank. No way, not going to happen.

Total complete BS, if I could find my stats I would bet anything they would show HU rockets, cowboys, queens and ladys are 0 for 20 each. Even flopping a set no help, some clown riding out to the river and hitting the 2 outer.

I have also stared down the barrel of AA at a far greater statistical frequency and they always blow me out of the water, always.

Someone please give me a legit site recomendation, please I beg you, they can't be all crooked. I just want to play some poker, not donate to a bunch of millionaires.

Rant Over.

I do like all the free bonus games if there is anything positive to say about this site, I have dozens waiting for me, so thank you for that, but that is in no way enough to keep me here. This crap has to stop. How can I possibly go 70 straight hands on a 6 handed table without ever being dealt the best hand. Its like flipping a coin and heads coming up 10X in a row, virtually immpossible. It is however possible that I may be the unluckiest SOB to walk the face of the earth.

Ok, now my rant is over.

I'm going to start twitching this crap.

If I can help prevent some poor sucker from joining up, it will be worth it.

First hand of a tournament just now I flop Ace high flush, hero slams in all his chips with 10-7 os and 3rd pair, 10-7 runner runner. Ok I know it happens, but come-on everytime for 2 days is a bit much, it has to stop. What choice did I have but to call? Thats my problem as well, I keep flopping situations where I would have to fold trips, nut flushes in order to keep my chips. I can almost everytime call the flop if I'm on BB now. If I call an A-3 to the river, almost with certainty my next hand starts A-3 as well. I also keep getting paint rag on the BB and sure as shit it's limped to me, I will flop trips 6 handed and lose everytime. Nothing wins, its immpossible.

I guess it is my fault, they must see me as a whale, certainly seen as a fish calling all-ins with ace high flushes on the flop.

Ok so after some research, I just found out why I have a run of bad luck in DoN SnG.

In theory, these seemed like a nice place to play for me, fast, don't take long, favourable to tight agressive play etc. But always seemed to eventually get to a bubble even when I was in great position early on with a few short stacks who always seemed to make it back stealing blinds.

No more DoN SnG's. While you think maybe 50/50 and good play taking you to 3/4 nearest I can figure it is more like 1/3 with the goings on going on in those.

I still think 888 has the best bonuses, I'm stack ed up with many free tournies to play.

That explains the players in some games, I still need to figure out why I get runner runnered so much and get crushed.

I'm not going to give up on 888 just yet, but until I can figure this stuff out, I'm going to restrict all my play to pennies or tickets.

He He turning this into my blog.

Been reading a ton while playing a ton, keep the books and web-sites open on the side of the screen and read and watch the tables at the same time.

Turns out it is fixed, they are all fixed, and it will never change.

You can play the fix to an extent.

Starting playing with Sklansky grouping of cards. I'm starting to fold PF far mor often. Its getting me deeper into the mix. Yeah it may be hard to fold A8s but it's working. In watching the game after the fold it has got me out of some death hands.

Once in the hand I use the c-bet to gain chips from position.

I still need the patience to fold the trip K's on the flop and the nut flushes have to be watched carefully.

Watching a guy right now, In a tourny, I'm about to bubble again, he's the chip leader. He has 5x the 2 place person. In 50 hands, he has had all the group 1, 2 and 3 hands and flopped them to a set every single time. Hes had quads twice, lost count of the nut flushes. He is killing it completely. Plays every hand and every hand is a premium starting hand. I'm jealous, LOL, but it is a bit much to watch.

Thing I noticed to watch about these people as it gets closer to the final table, they start to bleed chips bad, always, best to wait for them to start bleeding, and get some of that bank. But be careful, the game will give you some pretty nice flops, try not to get all your chips in until the river has fallen.

I will not post again, as I will never deposit again, I will finish off my freebies and off I go for another 7 years.

Yep it's fixed for sure

I mean how can it not be? so many people write about it being fixed on so many poker forums it just has to be true, that's just pure logic

Of course the people who write about it being fixed play DoN's with 2-3 minute blinds and 500 starting chips, and find it hard to fold A8s PF, but that's not the point! it just has to be fixed

7 years off may not be long enough tbh
I'm too old to die young
