"Place 250 bets in Casino (Min $1 per round)"

www.888poker.com/poker-promotions/Fortune-Trail/

Some steps could be done by Poker with some cents of rake, others by casino with up to 10$ average lose (2% Roulette). Well who ever had that clever idea, you failed. You want people to spend hundreds of dollars for a final 50$ win? It's stupid to think that people are that stupid.

If you wait until the timer in top right runs out the challenge resets.  All you can do is wait for a more favourable one.  The explanation I got from 888 is that these challenges have to cater for players of all bankroll levels and players who play sports and casino.

That's makes no sense since the prices are equal for all bankroll levels (officially).

I made it to level 7 and had 3 times challenges with XXX$ gambling und 2 minor Gambling-Challenges. So i had 25% ridicilous big gambling challenges plus anoher 15% big gambling challenges, 40% overall.

It's not a good marketing decision to make poker player overall angry for making some of them betting a few times.

Isn't that true anymore? (from the web-site):
"The Company recognises that while most people gamble for entertainment, a small number of people can become obsessed with the potential monetary gains our games offer."

Promotions like this does not look like that the company recognises anything.

This new promotion is a bit random. Three of my challenges have been ridiculous, bet 70 dollars on sports betting, bet 20 dollars on the casino and play 20 hands in flopmania. I don't do casino and sports betting, and my PC doesn't show flopmania, so I can't do that challenge. The challenge resets in 20 hours, so for this period I cannot progress on the trail. I guess 888 want to further encourage gambling by introducing challenges for people who don't play particular aspects of their site. I think for me this will be one promotion that will see me not for once actually complete the challenges in the time given. If I have to wait so long for a challenge to reset, I think I may be lucky to make it to 30 steps at this rate. Good luck to those of you that will bet in the casino and the sports bets, I figure many of you will lose more than you will win in the treasure chests!

Todays challenge was to only bet 5 dollars in live sports beting, so I did to race at 2.50 each way and was placed so lost no money, total of 10 dollars bet.  AND the effin trail challenge is not showing as complete!  So a toTal waste of time.  I guess the only consolation is I lost nothing!

The believers in aliens visiting us should take a look at this site.  They might find that the thing they have always been looking for runs 888s marketing dept.

Thats strange that the challenge did not complete.  Were the odds of the each way bet 1/2 or better?  Last 2 for me were place a big bet in casino and todays is $20 in sports and I will not play that either.

I had the same problem today Rhonda - had to bet $5 on live sports. Tried 4 times - got two wrong (one with odds under 1.5, and one where I cashed out early - also not allowed). But the other two times were odds over 1.5 and both bets have been settled. But the trail says I haven't completed the challenge.

I assume it's a bug in the system, but does mean there's no chance of doing the other two challenges I should have been able to do today. Plus there was also something wrong with the $4000 fortune trail freeroll at 7pm - wouldn't let anyone register so it's been cancelled.

Haven't played on 888 for a long time - I'm beginning to remember why. Sigh.

Happy New Year everyone!
