I only normally play forum tournaments, and last year I won 10 but lost another 24 when h/p.

So I set myself the challenge of playing   100 turbo h/p  sit&goes  in the hope it might improve my h/up play.

Played 2    $20   won 1 lost 1

Played 9    $10   won 8 lost 1

Played 54  $5    won28 lost 26

Played 35 $3    won 16 lost 19

That’s               won  53 lost 47

That’s 53% wins in the 100 h/p challenge compared to only 29% in forum games when h/p.

Hopefully this has improved my h/p play only time will tell, now for the hard part trying to get into the last two of a forum game which is always a task in it self.

Good luck  to all in our form games, win or lose they are always great fun to take part in.

You should also try 100 at normal speed i think you will do even better at that format as the turbos can become a crap shoot.

Thanks for the advice Neil, I played the turbo games as i thought they were more a relection of the end of forum games. I might play a couple of normal speed to see how I get on.

The reason for such a low percentage of victories in dueling may still be the fact that in most heads-up you were primarily a short stack against the chip leader.
