Lol. NO OFFENCE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER MODS HERE, BECAUSE I KNOW YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. BECAUSE YOU ONLY FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND YOU BLINDLY FOLLOW THEM WITHOUT ASKING YOURSELF IF ITS RIGHT OR WRONG.

I personally think that this tournament is for luring the general high stakes punters to generate more stakes and in the end they invite their selected and preferred accounts (those might be some of 888's personal accounts as well). Or why else they would keep it hidden? what benefits they can get from it? 888poker is dead to me. as it doesnt suit any real poker players now. and the promotions says for themselves. Please give me one reason to believe the bullshit
"It is a unique to 888poker (and maybe our industry) and we would like to maintain our competitive advantage; hence why it remains unpublished."

Do you even really believe yourself?

Having seen inside the MVP as a player I know exactly how it works and what has been posted is in fact true.

The tournament is a small reward to very active players, not an enticement.

As for following instructions that is the only "bullshit" I see here as we are volunteer mods who all have our own minds and often speak them.

When you say very active, how active is very active? For example what would you class someone who plays 5-6 hours every day but on only 1 table and another that plays 8-10 tables but only on for 2-3 hours.
Is it based on hands played or hours played?

Exactly Neil. That was my point. Playing hide and seek creates a smoke of confusion here. this strategy of them creates this situation of questioning their credibility and transperancy.

All I can say is that the players I met wager a lot, a hell of a lot and it's not all about poker as quite a few were casino players and never played poker at all, others were sports betting players.

I am sure that if anyone here met the requirements they would be invited.

I am quite sure that I had bet over 5000$ in one month. that might be in the january or february last year. but did not get any invitation. So point still remains. When you are playing hide and seek with your requirements of being a very active player, theres always chance of a confusion. And blindly defending them also make one as an accomplice.

Cheers

The people I was talking to at the events staked way more than that in 1 sitting, 5k a month is not high roller standard in any of the top casino/poker/sports softwares m8.

That said I did not meet everyone at the events and do not know the actual requirements needed to get invited.

Guys. Dont believe the words "5k a month is not high roller standard in any of the top casino/poker/sports softwares", Because I know of somebody who got invited to that tournament although he only had played 10-11 XL tournaments max. Its in 2015 if I can truly recall, although not sure about the month. I dare 888 to reinvestigate and publish the total stake of the invited players as an example. I bet that they wont. Because its just another way of the 888 to lure the general punters to play irresponsibly like their any other promotions.

But what hurts me most is that they are being blindly defended here, although I have asked to just give us some reason how can it help them by not revealing the staking requirements.

Cheers. I am done here on this topic and will try to keep my mouth shut.

*** Sorry for my last post. I think I have crossed a line by my words in the last post. Thanks Chris for deleting that. Otherwise I would feel ashamed of me. Thanks.
