Hi Sean
I did PM the links to you 1 month ago.
They are making these 'STATEMENTS' under the official 888 logo. So maybe you do have more say as to what they publish.
I will send them again.

This might help, it is from 888 affiliates siteEthical Marketing Practice Policy888affiliates condemns any unethical marketing practices. This includes, without limitation, the use of links in connection with site-scraping, spam e-mails, search engine spamming, blog spamming or any other illegal or unethical marketing practices. Any affiliate identified as advertising any of our internet sites in an illegal or unethical manner will immediately be placed under review and any commissions due to him will be withheld, until further investigation can be completed. Based upon the results of such investigation, we reserve the right to disqualify such persons from any ongoing participation in 888affiliates and from receiving commissions due at such time. If you would like to report misconduct by any of our affiliates, or would wish to receive additional information about our Ethical Practice Policy please contact us at reportspam@uffiliates.com.

They are making these 'STATEMENTS' under the official 888 logo.
The logos to which you refer are actually affiliate banners and 888 do not control affiliate sites and their content.
I am sure that if the 888 affiliate department are made aware of any content that is breach of their terms and conditions that they will contact that affiliate to have it corrected.
Any 'statement' made on a affiliate site or any other site can not be deemed to be 888's responsibility unless 888 own that site. I am sure that are brash statements about other sites and products all over the WWW.
Basically affiliates are trying to get new sign ups and some will use whatever tricks and tactics they can to get them just as a lot of sites do that are trying to make money. They say stuff then add a disclaimer-
like this one from one of the sites you have mentioned..
Disclaimerxxxxxxxxxxx is not responsible for any information that may be out dated or misrepresented on our site. Our editors ensure that all information available is accurate at the time of publishing and as such we will not be held responsible for the material after the date. If sites are misleading customers in any industry then those sites need to be reported to the correct governing bodies. The site I looked at today has a contact option at the bottom of the page and I suggest you use it and ask them to justify their statement, I know I will be doing so. The solution is to change your account to USD as Sean suggested as that way you will only incur your own banks exchange rates.

Thanks Cryptic.
They are only telling new customers that they will not be subject to any foreign exchange whilst putting money into 888.
Sorry for making a fuss over nothing.
Maybe I should raise it with the site, but they mean nothing to me and 888 do!
Discalimer from 888 and other site.
So no one is responsible or should care about what is being said on the WWW. I stand corrected.

Surely it would be more beneficial for my888 that you as a MOD put more energy into stopping sites making false claims such as this, instead of wasting energy writing a long post telling me that I am wrong.

I am not saying you are wrong, it is the sites who are misinforming people that are wrong.
I am simply saying that the quickest way to get action is to contact them directly. I have emailed that site asking them to justify the statement and I am sure Sean will be in contact with the affiliate department too.
The WWW is a full of... shall we say for the sake of niceness 'misleading information' and it is up to the individual to act upon it how they feel is best. Reporting it directly to the people who can take action is IMHO best and you found the correct email to do so.
It is virtually impossible for 888 to check every site that has a banner or has put claims about an offer or a statement of any sort and like all companies they will rely upon feedback from people like yourself who care. I am sure they are very grateful for your concerns and actions.

Please do not incite an argument as that is what this last post is leaning towards.
Your concerns are being addressed.

Cryptic, I have nothing against you, either personally or related to your position on this forum. I vented a bit, so sorry. I did inform 888 via a post and a PM over 1 month ago. Like many, I have nothing to gain either way. I am however, concerned for new players joining 888 via the two sites link's. Rather than incite an argument i thought i was standing up for my post. As I am new and you have far more experience of posts that offer a threat of any sort, I again apologise for this. I wish I was getting forum points for apologies. I look forward to your update cryptic.

Hi Andy,
While some of your numbers are incorrect, I'll not argue that, but state that I did not miss the point. I'll reiterate again:
If you wish to change the regsitered currency of your 888poker account to US dollars, as this is the currency that 888poker operates exclusively in, then please send a request to support@888poker.com. After this is done, then all future deposit/cashout transactions will be at the current bank's exchange rate.
SOOOOOOO can it be that my card is registered that you take dollars OFF my card too cause YOU seem too be missing the point sean SO ill repeat it again ITS NOT JUST THE WITHDRAWELS THAT ARE THE PROBLEM,infact my main beef is the deposists, and that i accept you provide a sh*t service in regards to exchange rate(8% FORTHEWIN) but i am not happy you are "raking" my deposists and until this is adressed these threads will keep popping up.
