I've been playing on 888 longer than I care to mention and I'm sure the R.N.G. that I started playing on isn't the same as the one that is currently in use.
So how often is the sites R.N.G. changed and are the effects of these changes monitored by the site?
I'm only asking because I have been subjected to the most frustrating series of bad beats repeatedly!! So that is why I am asking my question because I don't think it's in the sites interest to screw me over all the time (or everyone else) so I was wondering if the programmer has screwed up or somthing?!
I can handle a dominant hand being beaten a few times but not when my dominant hands lose MOST of the time! It's really getting sick and I'm feeling like a victim of a crime I'm not aware of! Maybe someone doesnt like my I.P. address I really don't know!
There are far to many players on here who know about odds, swings, variance etc and who are very good players, but they are asking the same questions (just in a different way).
So what gives? What has changed?

well if its a "random" generator then it shouldnt have to ever be changed, they should all be the same, random is random...... think we all have our own opinions on the word random in rng lol

All the sites don't use the same R.N.G. and it should actually be called P.R.N.G. (psuedo) because a computer cannot actually generate a truely random number so P.R.N.G. it is then. Its still faulty whaever the hell anyone calls it though!  IKP

Keep it as it is i see more bad calls daily more now than ever, dont change it i want the fish drawing to there 3 or 2 outers.

seems to me whenever they have their 2 or 3 outers they hit when they have 9 outs they dont.
IKP i agree for the rename i've read about the "rng's" and your right about the fact that it cant creat the random number

Slim I want these Idiots to keep calling with bad hands but I don't want them to hit more than they should! At the moment it seems 888 reward bad play. Last night I went into dollar games steaming and going all in with crap I even told them I would win with my crap. So All in q 2 off I rivered a Q and beat TWO players who called with legit hands. Next hand I went all in with 54 off and was called by another legit hand. I won that one aswell just like I told them I would! lololol
Either I am totally crap at poker and I have been lucky for years and years or somthing has changed which is why I posed the question "has the P.R.N.G. changed"?
I'm sure this thread will annoy a few people somewhere but I havnt started shouting rigged rigged rigged I've just asked if the sites P.C. has broken down or some idiot spilled coffee in the server or somthing? Maybe the programmer got drunk the night before he started work on the P.R.N.G.
All I know is life is a fekin mystery to me at the moment and I seem to be wasting my life away for absolutley nothing!

Hi IKP I think you, bullets and I have been going through a bad patch .... so I hope you dont take this wrong ...... yes this is a joke but hope it brings a smile today I asked support whats going on with their RNG as I'm getting killed by 1 3 and 5 outers. They wrote back 4 days later and said they have just launched their new RNG 4.04 and kindly sent me a pic......  Andy PS hope the mods will let this go just trying to bring a smile
If your going to call .... make sure you have a big pair !

Wow Thanks Andy it all makes sense to me now! As part of a cost cutting exercise the site must of gotten rid of the old PRNG and replaced it with the Gibraltor Gibbons or perhaps some other ape like creature that happend to be passing the offices at the time? I mean lets face it, it would explain a few things would'nt it!

lol posted just a couple of the sickos I have been getting for some time now in chip chat flopped quads beaten by runner runner etc still waiting for my slice tho as Im sure you are all aware it will even out and we all get them as I said still waiting for m,y slice I shall continue on with the punishment and keep the faith =P have to say things have got better since I started folding kings =)
