I havnt been playing much on 888 of late, but i have to say, every now and then i do play on here, the site seems to be getting better and better with the numbers growing all the time. Its great to see all the extra big gauranteed tourneys that are available and to see the prizepools get bigger as the traffic gradually increases. And some of the prizes on offer to players like the recent LG games....3D tv's, LG tablets, 3D phones etc... the games were you can win corporate boxes at the cup final and spurs etc.. and the horse racing syndicate games that are running! These are top drawer prizes that you wont find on any other site!! Its all looking good 888 Good job!!! onwards and upwards

And it would be even better if they sorted the real tech issuse out rather than all the emotions and other non essential parafenallier.

shinyone posted up a bit of a rant and has not only had his posts deleted he has also been thrown out of the forum bit strong I feel just thought I would give my thoughts on this maybe I will get thrown out too now??

Without even knowing the content of his 'rant' I will say it would be so much more better for him and me and everyone if we could focus and highlight on the positive points of playng on 888.
There are many. Actually the more I think about it, there are enough to out weigh me getting so !&*£^$ off that I leave.
So give me and everyone else a break and fix the basics.
This is a great site, but would be even better if you could play 'Online Poker' period..
If I was not so focused on the basic issues, I might actually enjoy all the lights and flashing knobs and stuff.....
But, when you have so many frequent issues, the lights look like extra BS to cover over the shadows made by the cracks.....
Would love to come to my888 and not worry about saying what I was feeling and how to word it without offending anyone or especially without offending 888.
As much as I 'rant' I am still here, playing.... Cos 888 have many things that other Poker sites do not which make it stand out.............. Unfortuantely it also stands out for not so worthy reasons
We are not talking earth shattering or unimaginable changes, just get some techies to concentrate on the basics 31.............. (fyi thats 24/7 (24+7=31))

That's now goblin and shiny given cool off's or suspended in the last month, where's the posts saying why? I always gave reasons when I was a moderator and got blamed for a lot I didn't actually do, go read the list of moderators and you'll find 2 that actually get involved, 1 who has gone missing, 2 who have other commitments 1 has his own reasoms for what he does and the rest just staying quiet to keep the status quo
If your going to suspend people or give them a cooling off period you need to say why, how do you let others know what's acceptable if you don't at least explain?
This place isn't about members any more it's about advertising and having a large subscriber base for facebook to get more to join, look at the birthday bash $888 freerolls, you can join in for FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE even if you never support us by coming to the actual event or ever posting in our forums/blogs, after all 1 person being lucky enough to win might just be the person who will turn up, but what does it matter? it's cheaper than the 888open isn't it

Like Wiggy has said a reason needs to be posted as why a members posts have been removed or has been suspended, i didnt see what was posted but every forum your aloud a freedom of speach as long as you are not insulting swearing or bringing race, religion or poltics into it we should be able to see whats been put up.

I absolutely agree with you slim, we are all adults after all, I find it quite frustrating and insulting to have posts "Moderated" surely all of our points of view are valid? and do not need to be edited or censored by a Mod who feels the need to treat us like school children! Both Goblin and Shiny have not changed in all the time (Almost 2 years) that I have been using the forum, so why on Earth they need to be disciplined now is a mystery to me, surely this is all back to front? We should be encouraging the loyal members to play here as much as they want to, and discourage, the people who join and then want to verbally insult and abuse other players, or scam and cheat others out of their bank rolls, and as for begging at the tables, well, who started that one? Yes there is a need for some control, but unfortunately it is sometimes applied to the wrong people, and the wrong situations. In my humble opinion we now have some mods who do not play a very active part at all, and some who are a little over enthusiastic in their censoring. Ohh and regarding Big Gaz, he has been busy making whoopee, ohh yes and making Babies!  whooppee Jeanie
