Hey guys posting this on behalf of a friend, who has been unable/unwilling to endure the higher variance levels of the 6 man SuperTurbos (top 2 paid) over the 6 man turbo's (top 3 paid). He defo has a point, and it might be worth adding a top 3 paid SuperTurbo game at $10/$20/$40/$70 levels. It is very easy to drop 20 or 30 buyin's within a few hours even playing optimal poker - the variance can be brutal. Anyway here is his thoughts, please take them with serious consideration, all he is asking for a few 6 man SuperTurbo games to be ADDED where the top 3 are paid.
"As everyone playing SNGs knows there was an addition of Super Turbo 6-man games to the lobby already a long time ago. This format became the most popular SNG variant in the lobby and receives the most traffic. However as of late I have noticed a decrease in the traffic in these games which I believe is at least in part due to the prize structure that pays only the top 2 finishers in the SNG as opposed to the top 3 finishers like in other 6-man SNG variants on 888. Also the more "recreational" players would be busting their rolls quicker and basically getting fed up of the massive variance these superturbo games carry. If there was an alternative in the lobby also in the Super Turbo variant which paid top 3 finishers I think a lot of the recreational players would appreciate it since the money is more evenly distributed and lasts a bit longer before needing to deposit. You could for example test the waters by adding this variant to the $21 buy-in level so the prizes would be 1st $60 2nd $36 3rd $24 like in the other 6-man games. You have done the reverse for the regular speed $22 6-man game by changing it from top 3 paid to a top 2 paid prize format when all the other regular speed 6-man games are top 3 paid, so a test like this wouldn't be something unique in the lobby. Let me know what you guys think." AN Other

Thanks for you friends feedback Daryl. It's a shame you couldn't get him to join the community to post himself.
I'll pass it on.

Hey wkd, how are you? I did indeed ask him to post himself but he said he would much prefer for me to post it and then he would comment, he said he felt it would sound better coming from me because I play so many of these games and am well enough known on here. Whereas he would be complete newbie. I understand his point to be fair.
But I will be asking him to post on forum - because he does read it.
Cheers.
