I'm trying to write down this calmly, because I'm really frustfrated right now.

So, your client basically works fine most of the time, but there comes a point where I would gladly punch through my screen into your freezing interface.

Basically, I play HU turbos and tournies and when I'm deep and your interface starts crashing, I can't do shit to play.

Example: I was just in 5.50$ 20 seats Nitro. We were down to 5 guys and your interface starts freezing everytime someone folds or if I click basically any button that does something (bet, check, raise, see previous hand). IT JUST ****ING FREEZES FOR UP TO 2MINUTES.

Now guess what happens if it freezes for more than 2 minutes when you are deep. Yes, you sit out and other players can eat you out basically with raising over you. I somehow managed to get up to HU in 5.50$ nitro while your interface freezed every hand basically and just when I had a quite huge advantage 3:1 in chips, your interface freezed, for 3+ minutes. Guess what happened next? 3 minutes of cursing over your damn site and getting a massage, that I won 30$, when I couldn't even play for those extra 20$, which I'm quite confident would win, if it weren't for this freezing.

Same goes for HU turbos, I'm 2:1 in chips, interface freezes, the next thing I know when the interface unfreezes is, that I'm 1:5 in chips.

I know I'm not getting any money refunded or anything, but how can I resolve this problem? Every other site works perfectly (PS, FTP, Ipoker), it is just your site that keeps freezing for whoever knows what reason.

This shit isn't funny, because you are getting screwed over for doing nothing wrong.

Hi and welcome to my888poker.

Sorry to hear you are having these problems.

Have you tried turning off the game animation? That often helps with issues like this as it can overload your memory when playing more than 1 table and sometimes even with 1 table open depending on your PC specs.

To do this go into your main poker lobby, click settings at the top and then click game display and uncheck the box I have highlighted.

You can even turn off the snowballs and stuff in the box underneath too.

Let us know if that helps, if not please supply your poker username and PC spec's including what firewall etc you use.

GL.

Same thing kept happening to me.. At first i touhgt it was my pc's(Got GamingPC 1,5k$) fault or internet(worked fine, did few chek ups) but then i opened multi tables and freezing happened randomly(not often like 1 time in ~3h or so). So yeah, u got some nasty problem 888, unless its some random problem with PC overall and it happens that i got one.. Oh yeah i lost some $$$ because of this.
When the freez thing happens, it show opponents turn, time bar doesnt run out(12secs or whatever the time limit is to make an action), after freez ends opp wins.. And it only happens when its 1v1.

I have the same problem,
Just want to note on same start that this has been happening for cca 15 days now and its frustrating as I have to play in browser.
Also I have a high quality pc and I can literally run anything but I cant seem to find a solution for this.
The software freezes and crashes as soon as I login.
Tried reinstalling but no help

try turning off your animations. Also make sure you delete all the 888 files before reinstalling.

In order to successfully reinstall the software and start afresh, please ensure that you completely remove the current version from your computer by following the instructions here.

Now download/re-install 888poker via the link found on our website: www.888poker.com/

If you are connecting from behind a Firewall, please make sure that the following ports are open:

701, 4095, 4096, 7100, 7200, 7500, 8500 and 8520.

Opening these ports will allow the software to be downloaded successfully.

Connection problems could be due to several reasons, most common of which are:

1. A connection error has occurred or you have been temporarily disconnected from the server.

What to do:

  • Try reconnecting after a few minutes.

2. Your computer is using a Firewall or Proxy server.

What to do:

  • Consult your Network Administrator, NSP (Network Service Provider) support service or use another connection.
  • In order to connect to our servers you should open the following firewall ports: 701409540967100720075008500 and 8520.
  • For the No Download version of 888poker, you will need to open ports: 212511080443808080818084, and 8085.

If you are running other internet applications while playing, this could interfere with the connection, we recommend closing all other applications, to ensure a stable stream of bandwidth.

Note: If the problem persists, please notify our Member Support Department, while including a screenshot of the error message or screen your viewing when trying to connect, via our 'Contact us' form.
