I do not use mac so can't help.

If you contact support@888poker.com they should be able to advise you if it should run on maxos 10.12.12.

This from their help pages but it looks like you have already done this.

I'm using Mac version OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 and having issues when trying to install 888poker, how do I resolve this?

Since Apple introduced the latest MacOS - OS X Mavericks 10.9.5, there's been a change to the way 'outside' applications are installed.

This may cause the following error when trying to install the 888poker application:

To resolve this and enable installation, please carry out the following procedure:

  • Open 'System Preferences' and select 'Security & Privacy'.

  • Enter your administrator user 'Name' and 'Password':

  • Finally, change the option from 'Mac App Store and identified developers' to 'Anywhere', then confirm by clicking 'Allow From Anywhere':

Will all my888poker members please ensure they have their 888poker player name in their profile.

The above explanation would work perfectly except there is no "Anywhere" option in where it says; Allow applications downloaded from. The only options are; "Mac App Store" and "Mac App Store and Identified Developers".

Is there another way of allowing the developer. Im running 10.12.5 MacOs Sierra on a MBP.
Thanks for any help

Hi Frankie there is a way to enable unidentified devoper downloads on Siera.

Siera doesnt have this function readily available however if you type a command into Terminal
this will bring up the option again in the security tab.

Howver I have done this but for some reason after downloading the 888 app on Mac Siera it start the upload from file and does not complete. So cetailnly use the terminal command and let me know how you get on uploading.

    1. Quit out of System Preferences
    2. Open the Terminal app from the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and then enter the following command syntax: sudo spctl --master-disable

  1. Hit return and authenticate with an admin password
