Hi all,
Just wondering if I am the only one that feels this way I mean I understand the site needs to generate revenue but if I buy into a Tournament I don't expect late registration to be running over an hour and half later.  Maybe 10-20 minutes is fair but when you have been playing for over an hour and half and people are buying in and going all in all the time they are just boosting the big stacks or getting lucky its ruining the game for me. Am i wrong in thinking this or do others feel the same as basiclly once my deposited money runs out that's it i will use my won tickets and leave.

I dont like the length of late reg either for the same reasons you mentioned and there is no games that I know of that dont have late reg.  I think it would be better balanced if there were games that were late reg free aswell.

The counter argument that the supporters of this system employ is flawed because they always reply by saying everyone has the same chance to buyin late.  Total bs because when you buyin late you are playing shortstack poker so if your not someone who likes that you are stuffed.  The only players that like this are recreational gamblers(fish) because they lack the experience of player who play poker at a more advanced level.

Sadly poker sites in general are going in the direction of shortstack bingo games because thats what attracts the fish that deposit constantly and on top of all that the quicker games are the more are played and site makes more rake.

I only play freerolls as a result and they recently changed the blind structure in them to suit the gamblers.  In my country(Ireland) they are considering a tax on the industry citing the reason that people have gambling issues.  They say sites are milking their citizens and their response(a typical Irish one) is to add their own milking machine to the party.  The point Im trying to make is these sites are not helping themselves in this argument by trying to attract gamblers rather than attract and educate poker players.
