you will probably find that the withdrawal was split between two accounts 30 to PP and the rest to a card you used????

NO way will you get £30 for $100 at any time.

If you change your prefered withdrawal currency to US$ and let your bank convert it you get better value.  I dont know why 888 charge a different rate and 888 has done nothing to inform us of this.  I found this out through other forums so its a common theme and Ive battered 888 support for an answer but have had no luck getting an explanation.

However that said $100 exchanged to less than £30 there is definately something wrong there m8.  Sorry for stating the obvious but contact support at support@888poker.com.  They usually reply within 24 hrs.  Hope you get this sorted m8.

Cryptic could you please forward this query to support as I cannot get an explanation for this from them.  If someone deposits $1000 here their account will be debited €888.34.  I checked the official rate and done the conversion and account should only be debited €846.55.  This is across the board with all payment methods and is not bank fee related.  I just done this as an experiment upon reading other players complaints about 888.

All I want is an explanation of why accounts are being debited more than the rate they are supposed to be and then when one cashes out they will receive less than even the real exchange rate.  As 888 customers the least we deserve is to know why this is the case. Thank you.

If anyone wants to test this just go to cashier and the deposit section and enter the amount as $1000 and look at how much you will be debited and then check this against the official rate which can be found through google or any business news section.

You can find most things on the help pages.

If I deposit I am charged whatever amount I deposit as my account is in $$$ and my bank does the conversion.

I would suggest you ask support to change your account to $$$ too

My most recent transaction of $40 was £30.93 debited to my bank.

I have my account in USD and the transaction you made to GBP is accurate to the real rate.  You are so lucky in Britain that ye didnt take the euro and now you are leaving the EU.  Please can you take us with youSmile

To avoid being charged when I cashout I would have to select cashout in USD.  Could you ask support to put some sort of highly visible notice in the cashout section to ask players to do this because players leave here thinking they have been intentionally scammed and they wont come back and all over a minor misunderstanding.
