Yeah England couldn't have asked for a better draw and should win through that without any bother i should think.

are you on drugs dub? no need to take rooney, we'll only be playing 3 games then home on the next plane. the euro's are always the same, with the exception of euro 96, england get an "easy" group then blow it. next year will be no different.

Not a very easy group tbh Ukraine won't be pushovers for sure. I think when we beat Sweden in the recent friendly it was the first victory over them for years so a draw against them maybe but they are beatable.
France are a better team than us even if they are not the force they once were so a draw against them if were lucky but I think France will win.
Which means we have to beat Ukraine and hope that results elswhere go for us and 4 points will be enought to go through as group runners up. Maybe if we beat Sweden we might be lucky and go through as group winners but thats optimistic to say the least.
As for the squad I'm not sure it matters really as we won't win it I just hope Capello doesnt make stupid selections like last time. eg Carragher or Upson instead of Jagielka or Warnock instead of Baines. I also don't want to see centre halves playing holding roles there are plenty of good candidates already to play that role. A big problem for England could be the potentially damaging consequences of the Police sending the cps a file on Terry. If he goes to court he must step down as captain and allow another to take his place I favour Gerrard who needs to stand up for England like he does for the Reds.
Having to travel so far won't help Englands cause either and the F.A. should of considered making new plans for there training complex but they have already announced that there staying put.
