I think we've all been there Ken.

It's especially annoying when your one of the threats to the top positions (as you are)

I'm still gutted at losing upto as many as 10 extra points for KANE last week & for what it's worth...if he says he touched it, even a brush then I BELIEVE HIM, he seems an HONEST to GOOD fella, like him a lot but even this late panel awarded goal will probably not be enough to catch the for me PLAYER OF THE YEAR...Salah.

Don't need to point out to you there are far more games in this weeks Fantasy League Fixtures so it was a bad one to miss.

The GOOD news for you is...

This week is very difficult to figure out who might might play & who won't, especially with regards to these EXTRA midweek games...

I pondered for a while if to pick Lukaku or Rashford but in the end i figured Mourinho might not risk Lukaku midweek but might just play RASHFORD both today vs WBA & midweek away at Bournemouth but we'll see about that one.?
I also figured he wouldn't tweak his defence too much right now (you need a settled defence) so i would expect Smalling to play both games before this FA CUP SEMI FINAL?
Cue Smalling to play neither Smile

Those that picked Chelsea defenders & players will be on pins wondering if Conte will RISK them before such an important Semi-Final against Southampton, who themselves have a real difficult choice to make? does Mark Hughes REST a number of players in this midweek game against Leicester? to try & achieve that ONCE in a LIFETIME chance of making an FA CUP FINAL? i wonder what saints fans think?
Difficult choice...they're some 5 points adrift of an IN FORM Swansea having played the same amount of games, i had a worry about Southampton earlier in the season & getting Hughes in when they did! just too late! so i would risk it by resting many of the imortant players & throwing EVERYTHING at CHELSEA in that semi (they proved they're more than capable of providing an upset against them)

He's between a rock & a hard place...if he gambles, as i've gambled on him doing by resting some of his shall we say better, game changing players for the Leicester game & they win against Chelesa to reach an FA CUP FINAL he becomes an instant HERO!
If he plays a full strength side against Leicester & loses & then fails against Chelsea in that semi-final he becomes a VILLIAN!

Funny how things can turn on just 1 decision...does he? doesn't he?
I think Southampton are unlikely to survive now in the Premiership (but amazing things do happen) but how often do you get a chance to make it to an FA CUP FINAL?

I am a very different type of fan...
If i were a Saints fan i'd be happy for hm to rest most of his players & try to win that SEMI-FINAL against Chelsea at the weekend with albeit a small chance of winning this HISTORIC trophy.
Both would be nice...making the FA CUP FINAL & surving in the Premiership but for me WINNING THINGS should always come first but i do understand those that think staying in the MONEY LEAGUE is more important...FOOTBALL has CHANGED & it's all about the MONEY!
But Mark Hughes i think & hope is a bit more OLD FASHIONED & may rest some? hope so as i've risked VARDY as my weekly captain Smile

But i genuinely have a soft spot for Southampton...Mick Channon, KEEGAN, that FA CUP FINAL win against United, 1-0 in the 1970's, the youngsters they bring through.

I really hope they make it to the FA CUP FINAL (regardless of my Fantasy League choices) & that they stay up but right now i think the former is the more likely?

So might not be such a bad week to miss Ken?
Remains to be seen?
Getting to the CRUNCH point.

You have to hand it to Mark (Ewars Woowars) he's been out in front for awhile now & try as we might we just can't get close to him Cry

He had just under a 100 point lead going into this week's matches & now it's upto 107 & i thought i had a good week!!!

There are 3 match weeks left including Week 37 which could be pivotal as to the final places this year? and even with cards to play (for some) it seems unlikely he will be overhauled.

Mark you've been the MANCHESTER CITY of this years 888 Fantasy League & he deserves to go on & win it now i feel.

The real interest lies in the places for 2nd & 3rd but 4th & 5th too (i think everyone aims for a TOP 5 finish in such things right? if they can) and this is just as competitive as the PREMIERSHIP...

Cryptic (Chris) has been right there all season long.
Spoons of Destiny (Paul...the other Paul Smile) is without question a constant threat.
Bubbling Under (Jenny, it's GREAT to see her challenging again)

Just 53 points between 2nd & 5th...ANYTHING could happen.

SPECIAL MENTION for St. PauliPirates...i thought he was done but it's with great interest to see him back in the mix just behind in 6th place & although you've had a bad week KEN we'd be foolish to write you off.

Those after 7th have their work cut-out but we've some Incredible scoring at times!
Get the right guy as captain & it feels like you've scored a HATRICK yourself Cool

It's been another FUN & Interesting 888 Fantasy Season.

NOTE to KEN & SEAN...i remember last season VASKAR (i think?) mentioning he could not use the play winnings of being CHAMPION to make bets & that it was only casino play money.
Well with this year being the FOOTBALL WORLD CUP YEAR i wondered if it this could be possible? that way bets could be placed on this Summer's matches.
Award could still be play money that you must bet so many times (x3 the award i think it is currently on some of these SWEEPSTAKE Awards) before you win anything but it would be a lot more interesting & fun.

And yes there is a slight motive to that question as i do have chance of making the top 3 slots but i'm not a big casino player & like Vaskar i do like the idea of betting any winnings? on FOOTBALL & HORSE RACING & GOLF & AMERICAN FOOTBALL & oh you get the idea.

Any chance KEN? SEAN?
I've already backed ENGLAND to WIN the WORLD CUP this year with 888 (hoped to get the 20-1 quoted but just missed out on that price (I think some loud mouth has been SHOUTING about the chances of ENGLAND WINNING IT this time Wink i can't think who that is? & i Surprised got 17-1 in the end...a GREAT PRICE still BTW as some are now offering 15-1 or less)
ENGLAND have every bit as good a chance as some of those top nations in the betting like GERMANY, FRANCE (i don't see it!!!), BELGIUM, ARGENTINA...for me the 2 favourites will be BRAZIL & SPAIN (back to their best) but i think we can do it?

Anyone read that about Guardiola...when he's won a national championship be it in SPAIN or GERMANY those countries have gone to WIN the WORLD CUP in the same year so...
COME ON ENGLAND.
I have also backed HARRY KANE to win the GOLDEN BOOT...if all goes well he'll be close at 9-1 with 888.
And i've already bet on some of the GROUP Winners & early MATCHES.

Get the idea i'm EXCITED? Laughing

GL to all 888 Fantasy League Players...what will be, will be...but MARK i'm coming for ya Innocent
