First up, i had to smile at this QF Champions League draw.
Are you sure the likes of Juncker from the EU didn't set this up? Laughing

All the so called BIG CLUBS or IN FORM SIDES were somehow kept apart (none of them drawn against each other) EXCEPT for the 2 in form ENGLISH sides.

Well i know it can't be...UEFA would never do that but it just had a slight smell of CONSPIRACY about it, the odds against such a thing happening would have been heavily against such a draw, but that's the way of it.

So then...

Liverpool vs Manchester City WHAT a series of games this should be?

Really hoped this might have been the FINAL...without a doubt the PICK of the QF's.

So who will win this one?

If both played to the best of their abilties i think MOST (even Liverpool fans if being HONEST?) would say it should be Manchester City but this is football anything can happen & that's why we LOVE IT.

I think there is a strong case for Liverpool making it to the Semi's but i really do think this is (hopefully) City's season? as i have seen no other team that has been better than Manchester City this year in the Champions League, have you?

Can Barcelona, Munich or Real beat us? for sure but i think as far as 1 to 11 i think City's are the better man for man.

I do wonder though (especially after that amazing performance against Watford today) if Pep will put the 'shackles' on MO SALAH? perhaps try to MAN MARK HIM out of the Anfield game? if not he'll certainly make provison to tackle him.

I'd settle for that Grumpy Smile
What an interesting encounter this would be with Guardy taking on his old side.

BTW i think your profile picture might need some updating (Kelly Brook's got shall we say a little larger thesedays, still beautiful though)

Probably a Semi Final line up of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich & 1 from either City or Pool? without a shadow of a doubt (for me at least) this is the most difficult Q-FInal to call but i would expect & hope (over 2 legs) to see City get through.

After that...take your pick? but i do think Manchester City have been playing football in the Premership the likes of which we have not seen perhaps since the days of Liverpool of old back in the 1970's & 80's and our play may even be better than that?
Hoping Guardy is building an English Legacy (similar to what Fergie did in the late 80's & the 90's)

It's no wonder City are about to sign a huge advertising deal with 'PUMA' they are now a BIG DEAL with a High Profile but i do hope they don't lose the spirit of the club in these modern times when it seems money & fame (so it seems) are the be all & end all.
