i won a 3$ rebuy mtt with my free 8$ won around 340$ by coming first went on to win a 5$ mtt after it aswell not placed much since then thou ;)

Nice one Andy ... if you've read this thread you will know that I deposited some of my own hard earned cash into 888 after about 2 weeks of just playing with the free 8$ .. in order to take avantage of the various bonuses ....... So I no longer have the right to say .. I did it all from nothing ...
But I've had an amazingly lucky 5 weeks or so ... and have not had to put my own money on the table (so far ) ...
I'm not gonna say how much I've won cos I don't wanna jinx it .... Maybe if I'm still up in a years time..... on January the 30th 2012 ...I will post the amount some where quietly on the forum ... just the amount in dollars with no explanation of what it is ...or why I've posted it 
any way good luck ... let us know how your getting on

I signed up a couple of days ago, been playing cash mostly apart from one $3 MTT where I came 14th or so for $6. Currently sitting on $46~. Will update if I move up to bigger limits.

nice one dave ............. 8$ to 46$ is great going ... if only I could 5x my bankroll every couple of days ... .....
I've moved up to the 3$ and 5$ with the very occasional 11$... tournements recently .
The players here are alot better and my graph has leveled a bit. I'm hoping this will improve my play , I've managed to get lucky a few times ... which is helping to pay for the lessons ;]
But the jury is still out on wheather I can hold my own and move forward, from here

Thanks Dub. Up to $60 now and moving up to 3c/6c, soo bored of 1c/2c now. Think I'm going to join you in some tourneys to give my roll a boost hopefully.

I'm moving back down to the cheaper tournees after looseing 10% of my stack ,
I can put most of my losses down to bad play with a bit of bad luck thown in ...
so heres hoping i can stop the rot...

Hi dom i started with the free $8 and i soon got it up to over $100 but i hit a downswing almost lost it all was down to last $3 and managed to build it back to around $100. I then won the $500 rebuy for $220 and my bankroll peaked at $350, But stupid me started playing roulette on the casino and almost blew it but i had the sense to leave with $100 and that is pretty much where i'm still at.

Nice going ? The casino roulette took $250 !
We live and learn james and i'm still going good if not better and have peaked at over $500 and just remember to use good bankroll management and avoid the casino.
