Just a note for travel on friday 27th july (day 1) and opening day of the olympics, i have to drive to redbridge and come in on the central line past stratford! Gonna be a nightmare, anyone got any more info or bright idea's or is it just get there early try and park and get there when ya can

hi Stegs I think you'll probably be ok getting to the tourney. As you say Friday is Day 1, but the Opening Ceremony isn't until the evening, so Redbridge to Holborn or Mile End and then South Ken should be ok. The ceremony is scheduled to be 19.30-23.30, so you should just about miss people leaving on your way home too. I'm assuming you'll get to day 2  ... TfL website doesn't think there will be particular problems at Redbridge, Holborn/Mile End or South Kensington at the times you'd be travelling. Wow now thats service for you  That has made me feel a bit better about the journey, thanks gos. My last visit there we was next to each other playing our slow steady style! Also remember you goin out flush to fullhouse if my memory serves me right, hope you have more luck this time. I hope to make day 2 but to be fair its the crack and experiance, especially if you make it via the sats its $33 and a bit of beer money for a great day out, thats my way of thinking anyhoo. Very good memory - yep, my small flush got rivered by the full house.
'Fraid I won't be there in July - we've got Olympics tickets on Sunday, so have swapped my seat for a Brum one.

Getting closer guys and gals. For the record i will be leaving sunny suffolk about 4 in the morning. Park up and tube in. This this will be easier. Getting back tcould be a bit busy but would rather just get there and worry about that later. I will be heading for the zetland arms for a couple before the 1pm start on the friday so may see a few there if not good luck to us all and go easy on me please! :)
