What a weekend!!!!! My head is still taking it all in with the help of pics (and video) of goings on.  I can definately say we had the biggest craic!!

I was very fortunate card wise on day one although my image at the table had good and not so good consequences.  I was blessed with good hands for most of the day and was lucky to go back to day 2 on 88K.

New table draw on Sunday resulted in many hours being card dead.  Luckily for me Pete provided me with something to look at whilst seeing countless amounts of 73s and 26s.  By around 3/4 oclock players were dropping as quickly as my chip stack before finally we were down to 2 tables and I was down to around 40K with av stack at 200K.  I hit a couple of small pots and stayed around the same for a while until 14 left when I had 25K left. A few lucky hands later saw me on 120K and moving to the ft.

The dealer became my best friend  dealing me some playable hands. I look down to 10s and was set to push all in with my 220K stack untill Bill went all in only to be called by Daryl who was the big stack.  I fold  and Bill shows 6s and Daryl turns over AK.  For a moment I breath a sigh of relief at my good fold until flop shows a 10 and doesnt help Daryl.

Few hands later and Daryl hits quad Ks against 888. 3 hands later I have 8s, guy shoves I go all in this time 888 serves me well and there is 4 left.  With blinds so high just needed my hands to hold but Id worn out my one times and when I shove with my remaining chips I get called by Bill and Daryl.  I have A6o, flop comes A67. I uncross my fingers as another 7 comes on the river.  Bill turns over J7 and Im out.

Justice done by Bill for me knocking him out in Birmingham at last SS.  Im still in disbelief 
 that I got so far after a shocking start to day 2 and am very happy with a 4th.  Bill and Daryl were crushing everyone they tussled with and it was great to sit and watch them at work (except against me lol).  I have learnt that 46o is the nuts (thanks to Bill) and how to pull a poker face (Daryl lol).  The local players were great as were the dealers and the organisers.

The cash was just a bonus though as what really made the weekend were the great friends me and Dan have made through this forum. Thanks to everyone for making me believe I could get to the ft (and for waiting for me before you went to eat).  

Cant wait for the next one where hopefully a few more will join us to have the craic.
