Here guys what's going on????
I've just had my $220 credited to my account for the seat I won for the Galway Superstack in November.
Why has it been cancelled?
We've already booked and paid for our hotel room as too has Danny & Kayla along with their flights to Dublin for that weekend
Some feedback would be appreciated here please

Yeah Malc see that but WHY that's what I want to know.
Don't they realise that people book things in advance to get the cheaper rates etc with hotels, flights and I know in Anna & Sonny's case car hire too.
No regard for punters in this instance - I'm disgusted and getting my seat money back doesn't cover the cost of the prebooked hotel in my case

Right see there's a notice up in the lobby now stating that they would be in contact with people regarding non refundable travel

Just logged in for 1st time and got same message ive paid for flight hotel and car hire already and booked time off work not happy thought an email to those that qualified would be 1st step rather than post on a forum

Would be nice to have some details about the whys etc. Also whether it will be rescheduled. Kay has booked time off unpaid for this event as our flights were for Monday and as D said we have our hotel booked and travel.

This event we went to last time was well organised had a fantastic card room manager the prize pool was as good if not slightly better than birmingham and now its not happening damn shame was really looking forward to it seems that the irish SS from what I can see has been pulled from there schedule full stop.. these games were only being attended by myself and kayla for the good weekends we have been having and we were really up for meeting D and vinnie once again.. for a £165 buy in I can certainly find better value games (GTD pools) but the company and feel of these games beats anything after the disaster of this Birmingham and now Ireland gone not sure if there will be any I will be going to now,, London is about the same time as flying to dublin and the same cost as madrid with no sun Im off to cancel my hotel flights etc =(

I bought a seat for going to this. I had an email from Alexa stating it had been cancelled and that they could not find an alternative venue to reschedule it.. The advice given was to try for the Marbella game instead !!!!!!
Sean also sent an email saying he would explain more later so hopefully we should have some sort of explanation as to what has happened.
Really disappointed that we are not going to get to have the craic again :(

This is a real shame - was hoping to go to this one (if I could wangle some leave). Hopefully we'll still have Dublin Superstacks next year.
Hope everyone gets refunded quickly for travel/accommodation.
If anyone does fancy Marbella (as mentioned by Kayla), I've got a seat going cheapish ;o)

Unfortunately, we've had to cancel the 888poker Irish Super stack event due to unforseen logistical issues.
E-mails will be sent to all members who had already won a seat confirming that their accounts have been credited with the $220 and what steps to take to get reimbursed for any non-refundable expenses.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and are working to get new events set up in Ireland. Until such a time, please take advantage of our other 888poker Super Stack live events.
