Dinky (jane) was also there but ran into some bad luck but did play the local evening event and had a nice 4th place finish even if she and ash where a little the worse for wear...cough cough just a few beers ....this morning she is necer drinking again lol...till the next time

New tournie manager is a big improvement even though he has a big job on his hands can see this becoming a really good venue in the future with his help.

The local hotel has changed hands so prices are a bit unknown at the moment for future bookings but they hope to be competative...but Gary found a suberb alternative and to be honest was well worth the money and not more than 5 mins away ( anyone wanting details for the future just pm me or gary we have booking details

One last word for the SS and 888 organisers..why was it not publiced that Sam Holden and a few others would be attending this weekend?
Maybe a bit of publicity would have got the numbers up or even putting a bounty on his head etc etc, I was surptised he was there and so where a few others..taken that we want to keep this going we might have reached a nice guarantee closer to the ones in the past ie £15,000, this one only barely went over the August guarantee of £9,000 and that was obviously due to summer holidays etc...plus this weekend also coincided with the Marbella SS.. bit of bad plannning maybe I dont know.

Also the fact that Gentings rules only pay out the top 10% in all of there casinos, surely as the SS is an 888 event its up to 888 and the SS organisers that the FT players share the Prize pool after all it is a FT!! maybe this can be sorted as the only way it can be done is if a deal is reached with the FT players, just my pennys worth on that, as most agreed before we started todays play that a deal should be sorted that top ten get paid, it would have meant only a small amount coming off the top 3 players

A brilliant weekend and as usual met some really nice people making it what I expected "Good Poker"
