With the preliminary schedule of events for the 2015 WSOP out at the end of December http://www.wsop.com/2015 I'm planning to start with the bargain-priced Colossus ($565 entry fee) on May 30th and finish with the Seniors ($1,000) on June 19th-21st.

Between these I expect to play at least another 10 events and will try to give a (possibly live) commentary as in the similar 2014 thread.

The Colossus has a guaranteed $5million pot which will mean it will need close on 10,000 runners just to break even. Maybe an overlay or a big soft field?

I should also be playing the Millionaire Maker and the Monster Stack (both $1,500) plus hopefully a couple of omaha events. Currently studying how to play stud and razz too so might even end up in a HORSE event. There won't be much time for enjoying Vegas but I'll do that after I've made my first million lol.

I've informed work of the dates I intend to go, so now I need to find the best (or should I say cheapest) way of getting there and finding accommodation.

If you are going around that time too, let me know and maybe we can have a coffee and a chatSmile

Don't let those with egos bother you, ignoring them bugs them.

Thanks everyone.

True gambler!? Don't worry Jeanie, I've never seen it like that for at least 3 reasons:

1) The fields tend to have a lot of merkins (as they pronounce it), thats americans to us and thanks to their government most of them don't get to play online poker and are generally weaker players.Undecided

2) Over a range of events I believe that I have enough quality to come out ahead (unlike last year lol) or at least win back a fair proportion of my outlay (like last year).Embarassed

3) I don't drink, smoke, pay rent or have a girlfriend at the moment, also I've worked through the winter which I don't do usually, so this would be my trade-off with extra money I've accumulated anyway (plus about $8k I have kept from the last WSOP, so with luck and a good start I may not even need to exchange any more English £££££) and I think I have a better chance of winning a million than if I bought lottery tickets with the same money, which would be the real gamble Tongue Out
