Ok it has been a while now. I haven't really been playing much just once or twice a week if that. Life seems to be getting in the way. Robbery (my pc was stolen) Moving house now so all the hassle of finding a new apartment and dealing with estate agents etc
I have won a few MTTs since last time I posted and I was up to over $1200 but my SNG games have not been going so well recently so I have stopped playing until the bad players go bust.
When I first started playing SNGs I marked a lot of players as donks fish etc and most of those have gone now so I will start playing again to see how I do.
Patience patience patience
Current bank roll is: $980

I busted out a lot today. Once just before the money in the $400 not noticing two things. First the other player had me covered! Second 32 players left and 30 get paid and I was placed 14th. All-in with K-J of hearts after hitting the King and the flush draw on the flop to be called by two pair K-Q and missing the heart. SOOOO stupid! If I had noticed I would have just checked behind his check not raised let alone three bet all-in. Bad timing maybe but happens.
Made a big bluff in the $75 dollar freeroll with nothing only to be called by A-A with an ace on board. That seemed to be the way of it today. Just in the money made 60c lol
Made $2 something in another game.
Folded 9-9 (as I should) to two players going all-in A-K and A-Q and of course two 9's came. Couldn't seem to catch anything and when I had something I missed the flop or got out flopped or behind from the get go. Never mind we all have ups and downs.
Had a lot of players raising with nothing when someone else all-in. What is it with that? I have nothing going to raise all-in and push the other player out? Bluff at an empty pot?
Time to get dressed my gf home from work soon and all I have done on my day off is lay in bed playing poker!
Current bankroll $304

Dropped a bit yesterday. But made a little back so no real emergency. Just had a lot of bad luck. Example: All-in with K-K in the $1 dollar $400 and had FOUR callers yes four nobody with a pair or big Ace I fell to the two pair of the great hand of J-8 off!
All-in from small blind with 950 in chips on the bubble of a $5+50 called by A-2 by the big blind. Think the blinds were like 100/200 and the big blind only had about 1400 left.
Not sure if a good call or bad call. I wouldn't have made it but then I don't like calling all-in with junk in any position or any amount above 5 blinds unless I have a huge stack.
Had a couple of hero type calls in other games knocking me out or crippling me. When you get it allin with a a good hand and then out flopped by say two pair or that flush draw or straight draw can't really help it. Also had a few people calling all-in when I had the best draw and a pair with overs just to hit their over on the river etc. Normal stuff at this level.
All-in with top pair and nut flush draw only to be called by A-A nothing I could really do all the money was going in no matter what. Missed the draw anyway and out of there.
Out kicked a few times. Also was all-in and beaten by bigger pairs. Only won one coin flip with A-K the whole evening.
I finally decided am running bad, bad day. So quit and played with my dog and had a few beers.
Bank roll: $316

I started with $140 and burned a bit of that off with a few disconnection problems and a couple of suck outs and bad plays.
Reinstalling the software has fixed the problem to a degree but it still disconnects me every now and again which I can live with until I get a new PC in the next few weeks.
My orginal aim was to have 75 buy-ins for under $2.50 + 40c level, meaning a bank roll of $225.
Because of the unexpected early win of the silver dollar tourney (I expected a win much later as it usually takes a lot more games to get back into the poker stride) added to which I also played five jump up games at $5+50c and placed 1st twice and 2nd once. I have now gone above my orginal goal of $225 and am standing at $249 excluding the Rio bonus.
I deposited $80 (that was all that was in my UK bank account that I have the card for here) I got the Rio bonus and ticket, (which I might not be able to use depending on working hours etc) I received $16 as a bonus (all helps right)
I can still jump up to the $5+50c games but only five a week as I have ten buy-ins extra at that level. (unless of course I win two or more)
My new goal is $500 to be able to play $5+50c comfortably with 75 buyins and enough extra to jump up a few times to the next level.
I have cashed in 5 out of the past 10 games I have played.
My SNG profit is actually minus $10 at the moment. But it was minus $34 so made some of that up.
Total profit to date: $102
Current bank roll: $339
