The casualties are rolling in, chip stacks are getting bigger and the stats are finally here.
6598 players have entered the World Series of Poker Main Event this year, vying for the first place prize of $8,527,982


3418 players have begun play on Day 1C of the World Series of Poker Main Event, including more than 30 888poker Team members.  While a few were eliminated prior to the notorious day one dinner break, most of the team made it through, including Team Captain Shane Warne and Sam Holden, both having decent stacks going into the last blind level of Day 1.

 
Niels Van Alpen is among the Team's biggest stacks, sitting pretty at over three times the starting stack, 100k in chips in front of him.

Team 888Poker Members Daniel Alberto Aixa and Alberto Morales have both had a very exciting day, seeing their stack flunctuate dramatically throughout the levels.


 
 
And we are still looking to see if Oliver's recent all-in bet on the WSOP will pay off.
